He is really one of the best site mods in my opinion. I think either him or Vespert check most of the newly submitted powers.
I stopped reviewing powers as I don't have a lot of leisure time now. (plus, my company blocked the main site for being game-related.) So, WHD must be single-handedly reviewing them all!

Yeah, I do the MythPowers myself.

But whenever I do get the time/patience/initiative to actually read powers and check them over carefully (not just skipping over them to find mine), I usually auto-approve you guys unless it outright sticks out as one that already exists, etc.

A couple I've found that were original and seemed unoriginal, and a couple that were unoriginal that seemed original. so, um, yeah...I'd say, as of late, my record's kinda hit and miss.

Yeah, you're right.

I'm actually thinking of changing some of the repeats into new stuff. Maybe random and useless, but at least original.

Re: DENIED!

Vespert
Yeah, that's what I've been thinking. Since they are still here, it also means those who created them didn't come back. They would have corrected them.

Speaking of replacing them. I've been thinking about some sort of game or contest:
- We start with one of the least wanted superpowers of the List;
- In the forums, volunteers post suggestions about new powers to counter it. All the powers must be dumb/useless, but are actually strong against the first power in a logical/creative way (the powers must still follow the same guideline as regular powers, no "ability to only negate..." or powers-that-can-counter-it-just-because-the-creator-says-so-while-it-does-something-totally-unrelated-that-could-in-no-way-counter-it-if-the-creator-didn't-say-it);
- We vote for the best of the dumb powers;
- Mods will replace one of the powers up-for-deletion (ones created months ago, so we are sure the creators really abandonned them) by the winning power, precising somewhere in the tags that the power was modified as a part of a forum contest;
- The loser powers can still be submitted to the main site by their creator themselves, if they want to. In that case, they will be forever ashamed to have created such useless powers and will forever bear their sins on their profile page!
- Then, we repeat the same process with the winning power being the power to counter (or another one of the least wanted powers)

So, what do you guys think?

Could randomly make you rich
Might even let chaoticly travel through time

The bad:

End Of Times Power Version 1

The ability to result in the end of the world any planet

This power isn't so much a superpower you really want to brag about since the only way to use it is to be killed. It's a superpower that you won't know you have untill you have a brush with death and the world around you starts to shake around you. The only way to not die and have everyone around you die, is to die of natural causes, in which your body wil disintegrate. Also something to note, if you are in another solar system, your effect will be felt only in that part of the universe.

The good:
People will want to keep you alive for as long as they can.
You can decide the fate of any planet

The bad:
One time use.
Literaly destroys the planet along with half the solar system
Can't do anything fun for everyone will be afraid of your death. I. E. Rollercoasters

Shadow Transformation/Control

The ability to allow your shadow to physically manifest it's self in your body

Your shadow is a unique representation of the evil in your heart. People with small shadows are nice, while people with larger ones can be evil. However, extremely large shadows can become their own identity and possess the host body in strange ways. Very few people can control these transformations and use them to their advantage.

The good:
You have control over your evil side
Gain amazing power and unique abilities dependant on your shadow

The bad:
Your shadow's unique powers and personality may make it difficult to control
You may become distant from friends and allies to protect them

Tactile Residual Emulation

The ability to absorb the powers of others through physical contact and empathy
This is an extremely rare form of ability mimicry. A person can absorb other's abilities by both physical contact, and an empathic link to that person. It is simply a different, more passive version of ability theft, and is slightly more powerful than empathic mimicry. You can absorb up to a maximum of twenty-eight abilities, and if exceeded, the most recently acquired power is overwritten by a new one.

The good:
A person who's power is taken is left weakened.
You can use absorbed powers almost immediately.
This power cannot be stolen, weakened, blocked, or countered!

The bad:
You might accidentally gain an undesired or dangerous power.
Takes time to learn to control absorption.
The original holder of the power can still regain their ability with time.

 Tactile Ballistic Telekinesis

The ability to create a nearly-indestructible psionic field around yourself and anything you touch

This is an extremely powerful, and exceptionally rare, form of telekinesis. Users can, through physical contact with objects, create nearly unbreakable force-fields around themselves, others they choose, or anything they touch. Enemies, and offensive weapons, can be either badly damaged, or completely destroyed, depending on the strength of the user's subconscious mind, and how well they can control it. Someone with a low level of subconscious control can be a deadly opponent.

The good:
Is MUCH stronger than standard ballistic telekinesis
Catch enemies off guard!
Can give you some degree of invulnerability, and eventually the ability to fly

The bad:
Can be uncontrollable unless you consciously force yourself to use it
Can be lethal to other people when used offensively
Takes a while to master full control of this power

Night Sight

The ability to see in darkness without any help of gadgets.
You can turn this off and on, but you only have a limited use which depends on your energy, because it drains your energy. If you are tired, you wont be able to use it for long, so you got to know your limit.

The good:
See in darkness
Good for night missions or night spying.
Keeps you in shape because you have to train your stamina if you want to use it for longer durations

The bad:
Drains your energy
You can faint if you push yourself too far.
If you use it while running you will lose energy faster.
