I don;t think that's it at all. I think they just haven't found an answer yet. Just because there is no answer yet, doesn't mean its automatically an alien. Give it a few weeks maybe a month and the truth will be found.

That's a tad bit annoying. It's not a competition; not sure if you realized, but you don't have to be the grounded, logical mind all the time. It feels a tad condescending when you can't even answer a freaking playful, joking question without coming off like I'm stupid for even entertaining the possibility.
