He is unforgiving when being a teacher however and is highly critical only expecting the best-which was the result of his father being the same way.

Backstory:
A former assassin who has retired after growing old. Despite being an assassin, he has a sense of honor and never hurts women or children. In a sort of repentance for his former work he runs an orphanage. He doesn't hesitate to redeem himself of his past which led to him being shot in the leg making him wheelchair bound. Wayne and Archer tried to steal his car and was beaten by him despite him having no shown superpowers. They started to stalk him to get revenge. Eventually somewhere along the line, they became his new apprentices. He now owns an orphanage in an abandoned church and teaches math.

Locke is the captain of Voras's security patrol. He joined because he needed money for his family. In no time he got promoted to captain but he declined any other promotions because doing so would keep him away from his family. He is loyal to Voras because he gets paid and his family is safe.
