Who knows? I might. Though it wont be much use if I'm the only one who looks at it.

Or it could be used as a lesson-teaching area for spelling and grammatical errors. Like a literary precursor.

"I'm not sure how to spell this."

"I'm not sure how to phrase this."

"I'm not sure if I said this right."

"Is this a word?"

etc, ad infinitum.

I could get some purpose out of it. But again, that's only provided that others actually find this thread useful.

But you just did. I wouldn't have been offended if you had said it to begin with, but now I kinda feel offended that you didn't tell me that you thought so.

So, my avatar is Kabuto Kirisaki from Psyren.

Spends most of his time chasing women, running from things and trying to be heroic (Failing horribly at it, too).

Of course, he gets more useful once he actually gets hold of his powers..

Specifically, the ability to predict and deflect future attacks.

So, anyone play the World of Darkness games? I've only read some of the sourcebooks, but It's a nice source of ideas.

The tone is rather dreary sometimes though.

As opposed to that other, more cheerful and peppy World of Darkness?

Is it overpowered?

Myself

In this thread, one person posts a power from the list and we debate whether it is overpowered.

First up, Pick a Power*.
Bow before your unimaginably powerful overlord!

Re: Is it overpowered?

Sirmazing
From what I know about the power it can be changed into one power (but I maybe wrong) if this is the case then I do not think it is overpowered.  I say that because if I am correct it can be compared powers like Omnipotent power mimicry, ability access, etc.
I don't care if my chances of winning are 99.999% or .99%  I'm trying no matter what

It can give you one power of your choice (even those you imagine) and you can change them at any time, which is what makes it different to Omnipotent Power Mimicry*, which only allows the selection of one per day; you must wait until midnight to change it.

You can imagine you want Omnipotence and keep it as the only power.

There's no restriction saying that you can't.

So yes, it's overpowered.

It's a mimicry power so it can't actually have true omnipotence and even then you only have it for 24 hours. I say it is very powerful, but not overpowered.

Perhaps not dreary.. more along the lines of depressing and angsty.

Like Prometheans.

You're an abomination born out of a ritually defiled corpse, reanimated by magic sourced from ethereal beings of questionable motive, cause horrific damage to the environment, will motivate every human you meet to hate you, pained by the absence of a soul, will motivate every human to destroy you utterly if they see your real form, persecuted by other ethereal beings of violent motive, preyed on by monstrous creatures that are abominations born by abominations like yourself who made a mistake when attempting to birth more abominations like yourself, subject to a cosmic scale karmic punishment system with an ironic streak, tempted to take up a blatantly evil philosophy that will alienate you from others of your kind, and bound to follow a vaguely defined path which demands you to create another abomination in your image to progress, taking years or even centuries to attain your promised reward. All of this to become a feeble, mortal human who potentially retains no memory of your struggle against the cosmos, with nothing but a human soul to prove your worthiness. Enjoy!
