Apocalypse Survival #2: Global Flood

This is the support forum for the second apocalypse RP. However, in this one, instead of fighting zombies, we must survive the oceans engulfing the world.

The restrictions on powers aren't as strict this time around, so have fun choosing; I'll let one of many options through.

We get our powers due to an experimental retrovirus designed to grant us underwater adaptations goes wrong. Another side effect: sea monsters, for some fun . Please post what powers you will have and where you will be.

Here's my information:
I'm going with Ability Imbuing and will be onboard one of these vessels to come out in the near future. In the story, I have a holiday on one of these through Passporta Servo when the flood hits.

Can i have a combination of powers.

I was thinking a type of water skin/armor. I could wrap the water around my body to act as a second layer of skin. I would need to be able to breath in water also because of it. Would give me a fish like appearance for my body, fins/scales/gills made out of water (mostly for looks). The water skin would give me super strength and super speed but only super speed while in water.

By the way, is this a "Make a character" one like the Official RP or a "You are the character" one like New Beginning?

I was thinking Ichthyic physiology might be interesting.


Mostly 'cause it's less easy.


I mean, you can't really turn this power off, so it has more disadvantages than just hydrokinesis or water breathing.

That makes it somewhat more interesting...
