I think I would go with Aerokinesis. That way I can have access to air underwater and still have a combat-ready power.

Still, I would find it really interesting if it took a semi-long term look at things.


Like people with aquatic adaption and others with Ichthyic physiology establishing underwater cites, and even battling it out.


Boat dwelling nomads with weather manipulation or aquatic shapeshifting..

I have an idea for a plot-thing.


A cruel tyrant has established himself over an area of the new huge ocean. He's literally forced them to tie and attach boats together to form he equivalent of a floating city.

You might wonder, how does he stay in power?

He has no powers at all.. It's his daughter who has a very potent ability.


She had Death Induction. She can extinguish someone's life with a thought and a touch. She, by herself, isn't such a bad person. Her main problem is that she's rather spineless. Anyone and everyone runs her over and her father terrifies her.

She kills anyone he says to.


No one wants to rebel for obvious reasons.




Soo, our mini plot would be to help those people.

We have to think to solve it to.

We can't just kill the tyrant. Someone else will rise up and take advantage of the death girl again. Even if no one does, the suppressed people will want to kill her.

She's nice enough, though her dad is crazy cruel.

If she wasn't such a wallflower, she'd make a nice ruler-person.

To clear any questions, this is to be a "be the character" thread .

I'm thinking of a group of Esperantists (people who speak Esperanto) who, as the waters rose, came to live and work using Passporta Servo. I was one of this group, trying to ensure that most people in the new world at least spoke a common language; otherwise, the world would go back to a tribal status, unable to communicate .

This is how I got separated from my loved ones, ending up on a rich man's yacht/submarine/houseboat thing, with only myself, the rich guy and his wife. This means we can pick up people who need help. The only reason I got in was because I had a power, which many wanted to preserve, as well as control to increase their chances of survival -especially someone with an ability like mine .

P.S. I am currently learning Esperanto in real life.
