yes, with shapeshifting I can alter my mass as well as change the chemical make up of my body, such as if I Turned part of my arm into a steel sword and then broke it off.

oh wait I get it. Okay I'd form the hilt and guard as well when I make the blade, then break it off as easily as I would a finger nail....although I might just go with a bone sword, apparently if it's dense enough it's just as strong as steel and a heck of a lot lighter.

...I just thought of a way to get past the can not tranforrm other substances.....two ways actually.

Radio consciousness, and fusion/infection.

I could split of a part of myself, fuse it to another item, and transform the item and control it remotely.

Radio conciousness is a common trait for shape shifters, like when they shatter, or when their a liquid .

By Radio Consciousness, I think he means the ability to communicate with one's body part when it's detached.

Hm...Radio Consciousness sounds like Remote Control. The ability to control or communicate with the body after being separated. i.e. an Astral-Projector's soul animating the body even after it leaves the body, or the Anatomical Automatist being able to direct their actions after the body parts are disengaged.

okay then what am I thinking of? = The ability to change your bodies shape and composition to the molecular structure while still remaining mobility and sentience. Capable of changing mass and volume easily as well. Also capable of separating into several segments which are under your control and still capable of transformation.

I think it should be either Shapeshifting or Transmutation, not both (if indirectly). I will think about and see though -I will reach a decision by the time this RP is up.
