Well for one definition of Grill, it would simply be some sort of metal device that contains or gives off heat. With Radiation as a source, you could simply having the Grill radiate off the heat.

Example: The character has some war gloves that have grill-like aesthetics (Like the bars and vents that grills have) and this character heats up the gloves in some way until they reach a point where they are radiating off a lethal amount of heat.

Serge is aware that his name is not the name you expect a headless horror of the night to have.

But it's all he remembers from before he woke up in a graveyard without a head, so he decided to stick with it.

He could find out more by finding his head, but seriously, fuck heads.

They're more of an inconvenience than anything else. Everyone's always stealing them or hiding them. Not to mention they're only useful for remembering things.. when you have them.. or talking.

So Serge just decided to not look for his head. Way less stressful that way.

Apparently the person who got his head felt bad about it, and left him a book by means of apology. Of course, despite being able to.. see.. the book by means of some exotic sense, he couldn't read the damned thing. This was something of a relief, as the book was quite large enough to kill a cat, and covered in tacky gemstones.

This tackiness did not prevent the book from coming to life when the caretaker of the graveyard tried to hit him with a lantern.

Gave the poor bastard the paper cut of a life-time.

Careful experimentation revealed the book seemed to work whenever it damn-well pleased to. The gemstones on it appeared to drink in moonlight, like it was some sort of power source. Stupid mystery books.


Dullahan:  Serge is a Dullahan, a type of Sidhe- Or Fairy. This entitles him to a vast array of magical powers... that are all useless to him, on account of them being stored within his head. Despite being headless, Serge can still sense most things as if he had a head, in a way that he describes as being able to touch everything within his line of, er, sight. This allows him to approximate size and location, but not sense color.

Interestingly, he knows how to ride a horse and fight pretty well, despite being amnesiac, due to a degree of muscle memory.

Serge is of moderate height, pale and eerie. Maybe it's the headlessness.

City: Sergy woke up in a graveyard in a large city reminiscent of  Victorian London.

Paper/Supply: A bizarre book. It's main power is to come to life in a swarm of flying paper. Serge can politely ask it to form assorted shapes but it is cat-like in it's indifference to his requests. The book works on a stored supply of moonlight, which it must recharge after extended use. This recharge requires it stay outside, closed, under a moon.

Stat Increase: Speed. Some vestige of fairy nature remains within his body.

Ugly Artie was one of thew more comical looking Gargoyles perched around the top of the Gatewater Hotel, waiting out the days, taking wing each night to scavenge for food, and dreaming of a better life. Of getting some edge that would make him king of the night skys.

He met Ray in a junkyard while chasing after a tasty looking rat. Ray was a small Lumen, a being of pure light make from alchemy, trapped inside of an old timey gas lantern. They met when Artie knocked over the lantern in his haste, it broke, and the little ball of light started shrieking about how it was going to die exposed to the air like this.

Artie ate him. He was, after all, hungry.

Later that night, he felt one of his eyes pop out. He could still see, but there was Ray where his left eye used to be. He wanted to talk.....

Lantern/Symbiosis/Gargoyle: Ray the Lumen lives in Ugly Artie the Gargoyles left eye, and the two have come to a bit of an understanding. Artie carries Ray around, keeps him alive, and lets him see the sights around the city. Ray, in turn, uses his powers to help Artie: Ray can shine his light at a similar frequency to the sun, allowing Artie to shift to a "halfway" form between flesh and stone, or statically turn fully to stone. With time, Ray may even be able to tune his shine so that it cancels out the rays of the sun, allowing Artie to walk in sunlight. As can be imagined, these abilities have allowed Artie to rise quickly through the ranks of Gate city's supernatural community.

Hotel/Currency: Artie's haunt and place of residence is the Gatewater Hotel. Ray enjoys things that gleam in the light so Artie has made it a point to sneak into Hotel rooms and take things that do so, hiding his stash of watches, coins, jewels, and other assorted things in a hollowed out depression under his perch.

Hey Zale, could you look over the coding for the Misc additional roll options? I can't tell if they are acting funny or not. Unless it requires to much reprogramming, could you make them only roll the section they are supposed to roll?

They.. don't roll the section they're supposed to?

The code is pretty simple (Since I can understand it).

They currently reroll all the sections by the look of it. At first I thought you simply made the code so that it rerolled the first four sections (Since they all act the same) but I rolled additional Source a second ago and it gave me Misc options as well so I was curious if everything was working correctly.

The trimming down so that it only shows the section that it is supposed to isn't needed but it would make things easier to read.

It basically divides the content into FIRST, SECOND, THIRD, FOURTH, FIFTH.

Whenever it rerolls, it just takes a value from whichever column works.

I don't really have the skill to bug-test this. :|

I think what your program is doing is that when it rolls addition source for example, it grabs source but it continues down the array types from the one it grabbed, so it pulls one from everything from source to Misc.

Mine: Moe, a Beast-Man exiled like so many others on his planet, passes the time by working the mines below the ruins of some lost civilization. Unlike his only friend, Manny, Moe is not satisfied with intellectual pursuits, preferring the rewards gained from physical labor.

Mutation/Time/Chimera: Moe was exiled just under of year from the time Manny took up residence within the ruins, leading them both to witness the horrible mutations taking place in the other as time went on. Moe's mutation took the form of an aggressive rapid mutation. Materials of every kind of animal would sprout from his body, leaving him a scarred amalgamation of creatures. Eventually, the mutation calmed down, but only once the majority of Moe's skin had been replaced with the heads and appendages of the animal kingdom.

Chain: Moe's mutation lies dormant, waiting for a patch of Moe's skin to be opened before quickly refilling it with a mass of flesh. Moe can pull at the heads and appendages covering his body, forming intestine like chains with which to defend himself with. Once the makeshift weapon has served its purpose, it can be severed from Moe's body and left to rot as new flesh covers Moe's body.

I can't believe how easy it is to get away with this shit with you people. It's like, "oh, this can't be a true A.I., it doesn't even have a voice interface." That's the thought that you thought just now. Just because I'm a screen, and not some sort of sexy female voice, you assume I must just be a V.I. For Shame.

Oh don't hit the walls. This place was originally a fallout shelter in case of full nuclear annihilation of the planet, it's built to last.

Yeah, the gold from the ad out front. Albert Spangler's entire fortune. All yours. It's in a subbasement around my terminal. I'm literally surrounded by gold. You just have to come and get it.

See, there was this kid here, Arnie Spangler, and he taught me a lot about games. We would play them together, me versus him. Off course, he would always win. He was a genius, I was a V.I., no prizes for guessing how those went. So, he upgraded me, without old Albert's knowledge. Programmed me to win games, formulate strategies, pit my will and mind against that of an opponent, and he programmed me to Love It.

So I made my own game. A game you will be playing, in a modified version.

The Games Rules:
1. There are 6 different wings of La Luna Tranquility accessible from this central hub. Only one is open to you right now.
2. Hidden somewhere in each wing is a keycard that will grant you access to a different wing of the hotel.
3. This is the modified bit, and why I had to get rid of a few of your friends. Originally, I just imposed a time limit till I exposed the wing to vacuum. Now, I only allow a certain amount of air in each wing:

1: 12 hours worth.
2: 8 Hours worth.
3: 6 hours worth.
4: 3 hours worth.
5: 1 hours worth.
6: 45 minutes worth.


4. The 6th wing contains the casino, and the keycard in it activates the elevator to the vault. Once you have entered the elevator, the time limit will be rescinded, the doors will be opened, and you will be able to carry the gold out at your leisure.

In the interest of fairness, I will tell you right now that there is no security system I can access. Now turrets or defensive robots or anything. In fact, I will list my weapons. These are the systems I have control over:

1. Audio system
2. Manipulator hands [designed for taking coats and keeping rooms and things like that, easily broken]
3.Doors and Shutters
4. The Interior Lights [Important]

Now, to once again put my very life on the line. This room only contains 20 minutes worth of air, so proceed to the first wing quickly. Let the games begin!

Interesting, though I'm not sure how that character would fit with the overall RP design. Then again it does not really matter so much since we seem to be only character creating at the moment.
