Humanoid.

Ok!

Any particular themes or any area you would like them to be from?
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Like things a creature can be associated with.

Like Fire, Death, Sound, Greed, Sun..

Well, I'd like to have my character go with the whole fear motif.

Oh, no I meant it more as a theme for my character. Using the whole fear and death motif.

No I didn't take that. I was just trying to go with the whole "I'm going to execute you" angle. Since my spirit weapon is a Khopesh.

Do you have any specifics you want?

Ankou.

The Ankou is the henchman of Death (oberour ar maro) and he is also known as the grave yard watcher, they said that he protects the graveyard and the souls around it for some unknown reason and he collects the lost souls on his land. The last dead of the year, in each parish, becomes the Ankou of his parish for all of the following year. When there has been, in a year, more deaths than usual, one says about the Ankou:
He appears as a old man/skeleton who wears a large hat to cover his face. He drives a black carrage pulled by four black horses, with two ghostly figures gliding behind on foot.

Fear AND Death?

Oh. That makes this so much easier for me.

I just have to find a frightening harbinger of death.

Does it have to be Egyptian?

No, it doesn't have to be egyptian, but it's a bonus if it is.

There's Shezmu.

Shezmu (also known as Shesmu, Schezemu, Schesmu, Shesemu, Shezmou, Shesmou, Sezmu and Sesmu) is the ancient Egyptian demonic god of execution, slaughter, blood, oil, wine and perfume.
Barring that, you could go with some of the eygptian concepts of a soul.

Which according to them, had five parts.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”
