Already corrected.......In this case I will say something to begin with, in the beggining the powers will not be as pronounced, but the longer you spend in the spirit world, the more of your bloodline surfaces, eventually some of those who spend large amounts of time there develope powers that revel their ancestors, but that is far in the future.

Yeah, I understood that. I think you already said something like that in the past. So how will you determine how powerful we are at first, and how will you determine what powers or upgrades the memories we collect will get us?

First you pick three starting memories. The memory of shape, which will determine the shape and attributes of your blade, a memory of struggle which will allow you to fight using a preset style and upgrade your physical parameters, and one Holy memory which will contain a power relative to your bloodline, as well as giving you the power to increase the affect of your spirit bloodline for a small amount of time.
The power levels themselves will be discussed later during character creation like all of the other forums. The memories themselves will be added as well, most likely in this forum, by everyone along with their locations in the spirit world, and their guardians. They will then be put up for judging by every member of the Rp. After that anyone can participate in attempting to acquire one, and are encouraged to either cooperate or attempt to thwart one another. Other than memories held in the dream world, which are more powerful, there are also more memories generated by the real world twenty four seven, only the strong ones continue to exist however and take form. By triggering a series of events in the real world to make a memory you can harvest one that way.... However this all means that I'd have to make a grouping system doesn't it....I'll post that in a bit this is starting to get a bit long.

Memory types;depending on several factors such as the strength of the emotions felt during the event, and the number of people experiencing the event, the strength of the memory will differ as well as it's ability.
Strife= Memories of times of tormoil and strife, which actually generate several sublasses of memory in and of themselves. these are the most common, and often the most powerful. () Hatred: Manifest themselves out of the memories of pure hatrede generated at the time of the event. Such memories manifest themselves as increases in strength and attack. as well as altering the shape of your weapon. () Grief: THe feelings of sorrow generated during an event. Most manifest themseles as curses which you can inflict upon your enemies, others become increases in agility and fluidity, the more powerful ones allow you to dissapear entirely. () Determination: manifests themselves as an increase in strength and dexterity, or in some cases attacks. The memories of the determination to survive felt by those who were suffering. Determination to protect manifests itself as shields varying in strength. determination to fight and conquer manifests itself as an upgrade to your weapons fighting power as well as your own. Happiness: Memories of times of joy. Usually manifests themselves as Items that are used for healing, Are often used in medical facilities in the spirit world. However they also used to repair borken items, ,and excelerate the growth of plants and animals. Fear: A power full memory made by the feelings of fear felt by one or many. Often create attack memmories, or memories capable of creating illusions, and altering ones form and appearance. These are some of the most common but there are many other sub groups. For example Memories of fighting: Memories generated from an entire life of honing ones skills, and fighting for survival or simply practice. Allows you to access their abilities and use them as your fighting style. Animals, Humans, and even locations themselves are capable of generating memories the most powerful of which are called "holly memories." of these their are two known types. Location memories: Holy Memories which hold within themselves the entire existance of a certain area, depending on the area the power differs. The area itself has to be close to ancient for its memory to reach this level though. Raw emotion: Memories of events where the emotion was so strong that it permanently condensced itself into a holy memory rivaling the power of location memories. Holy memories themselves take time and effort to use correctly however,in the beginning your lucky to scratch the surface of one tenth of their true potential. For the Characters in this Rp their holy memories were passed down through the generations, which in addition to their first fuction allows them to use them to increase the power of there spirit blood, and unlock the potential of their ancestors even further, at the cost of extreme mental and physical exhaustion.

Well since I might as well get this done with I might as well map everything out.
First NPCs Yes, there will be NPCs several of which are other hunters who will be attempting to go as far as killing you in order to take your memory. OTher than that their are the denisens of the spirit world a various assortment of imps and ghouls and minor gods, as well as various creatures and beings. Several of which are civilized and have taken after modern civilization, some of whom are actually ghosts of humans. NPCs are free to submit for anyone, they will then be evoluated and set for use in the Rp. You may create an enemy, for your self if you want, as well as temporary or non temporary companions. Next is Geography. To begin with, the spirit world is an unstable crockpot of moving locations located along various faultlines. The spirit wolrd is several times larger than earth, and is location to varrying locations with climates that change immediately along the lines of seperation. The areas themselves are a jig saw puzzle of earth, and several periods of history on earth, mixed together with everal other realities and realms. However there are several sections which interconnect with each other similiar to worm holes, which allow you to make a shortcut between two areas of the same world without having to treak several miles through god forsaken wasteland. However traveling through said wasteland has it's advantages. For example, If a segment of Europe were only a short jaunt away from parts of South America, in the spirit world, only seperated by a small strip of creation, you could cross the strip from the segment of Europe, into the segment of South America, and then pop back into the human world, in South America. This also works for shorter distances. Of the strips which are constantly moving there are also several stasis points which remain in one location, often held in place by powerful memories. These stasis points cause the areas around them to slow their migration, and sometimes allow a complete stop, allowing civilization, and even maps to come into existence. The spirit world itself is hollow. The core of the spirit world is said to hold within it the most powerful memory in existence, some conjecture that it is the memory of the creation of the multiverse, others say it is a powerful spirit which condensed itself into a memory so that the spirit world could form around it, others say that it is simply a myth and that you can actually dig further than eighty feet or so into the ground and often set off to prove it...such individuals are shortly after never heard from again. Although I said hollow, I suppose that is not entirely true. The inside of the spirit word is actually a giant swirlling mass of chaos and emotion, which some have conjectured is a giant mass of all of the memmories and events to have ever occured throughout the whole of existence, which are constantly being absorbed by the core save for a few which surface to become either landscapes, creatures, or the memories that we collect. As of yet nothing can survive making contact with the storm, although many have tried. third is the actual jumping. which I've stated before. WHen splitters, a name I made up on the fly for people with a spirit or more in their bloodlline if you have a better name for it please say so, althoguh i the book I willm ost likely continue to use the term splitters. Juant from the mortal world to the spirit world, they actually go through a process in which their spirit ancestry becomes dominant over the human ancestry, when this happens they are forcibly ejected from the human world into the corresponding location in the spirit world. Several of these splitters are often killed on the first jaunt and never make it back, in rarer occasions, they get stuck in spirit form. Normally spirit blood is recessive, activating only on rare occasion, when this happens your body experiences something akin to a mini seizure, during which you may experience several color shifts and a feeling of vertigo, this may be a side affect of the world Juant or the transformation itself. The human world and the spirit world naturally rejecttheir counter parts inhabitants making spirits a only able to enter the human world when summoned or through extreme effort, and humans only able to enter the spirit realm in astral projection, dreams, or the rare physical portal. It didn't use to be this way however, in olden time spirits and even a couple fo humans were able to juant to and fro from one world to the next, with a few exceptions of extremely powerful forces. However recently the borders have strengthened, and I'm speaking of in the past several thousand years or so, and it's getting harder and harder for them to mae it through. However, that doesn't mean that there isn't communication going on at both sides, as well as a few spirits who have made there way through and stuck.

It depends, I said corresponding. Meaning that if it existed and wasn't just a part of the chaos underneat the spirit world's surface they would appear in the corresponding part of the spirit world which holds there current location...as in if there in a city the city would look the same but the sky would change color, several of the buildings would be just off,sometimes with sections missing or suddenly under construction, and the air itself would be a slightly different color. If no such place exists, they would appear in the section of the world where their ancestors frequented the most, in which case they most likely have a ninety to ninty nine percent chance of being killed by something horrible.

I'm still working through all the information.
So we start with 3 memories. 1st is weapon one, do we start with sword or any weapon (Like pole for monkey king), 2nd is generic fighting ability upgrade, 3rd is related to ancestry so can I have nimbus cloud ability?

transportation class bloodline ability in which the members of said blooline are able to generate a cloud of viscous gass that is capable of supporting weight. I may have forgotten to mention this but you also have your spirit bloodlines abilities to fall back on, or if you want you could just make the Nimbus an NPC or trade for one later on.
