No point without the combat bonus? There are lots of other things it could do. It could make weapons and armor of extremely good quality beyond what normal mortals can make. My main complaint is that due to it giving the Divine Combat bonus to what it creates, it is creating the equivalent of Divine Artifacts for free. Anything else would be better and fit in more with the rules.

All it does is upgrade equipment at the moment, that Is a lot different than it making a completely new Divine Artifact for free even if it gives a bonus.

It is not like I can let it be used by every member of a species.

Just create a similar artifact for yourself. All that really matters is the combat advantage cap.

I just remembered, Miracle is a tier two action and it gives a +3 combat advantage that goes above the normal combat advantage cap. The forge only gives a +2 advantage, so it isn't nearly as overpowered as you claim.

Upgrading equipment to make it the equal of a Divine Artifact is in essence the creation of a Divine Artifact. I am not asking for it to be used by every race as that would be pointless. I know that Gilgamesh would not do that in the story.

As for creating a new Divine Artifact, unless you remove the limit which was for people to catch up to those in the lead I can't create anymore Divine Artifacts.

It would lack any of the abilities that make a Divine Artifact an Artifact.

You can consider the limit removed. I wouldn't have a problem with you editing your current ones either, such as them giving a buff to nearby allies or something.

Um, the Forge still is. You can only use Miracle as long as you have motes while the Forge can be used limitlessly. There's a very large difference in that. The starting High God can stockpile enough motes to use Miracle only 6 times, while your Forge can create enough items to equip all your gods. You have 13 so that would be a bonus for your side of +26 while the starting High God can only boost himself up by +18. That is not right and breaks the system.

You know that the mote cap goes up as new Spirits are created right? That was in the original rules. So a person could use many more miracles and blessings than that.

I only have 10 that could use it actually, I'm not sure where you got 13.

It is as limiting as it is helpful you're forgetting. I'm trading versatility for power.

I'm not going past the power cap, and you can get the power cap just as easily, so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Leave my things as they are, Its not like I'm trying to invade you with them.

This is the only RP that could be considered a competition of sorts and that tends to cause arguments.

The reforged stuff would still give the same bonus as a Divine Artifact. Both of them are permanent and give +2 in Divine Combat, but one had 16 motes spent on it, while the other had none. That is unfair to all involved in this roleplay and needs to be changed.

Yeah, but if you do the raising mote cap with new gods.. the math becomes complicated.

You have to keep tract of how much your mote cap goes up each time you make a god, as well as insure that you don't go over, and then I have to make sure..

I've reached my math tolerance.

I said original High God, in other words, someone like Zaya who hasn't created any new gods at all. And you have 13 gods total, all of whom can use the stuff from the Forge. As you said that each reforged item is +2, that means that without adding in godly bonuses, with the items alone you get +26 if it's one per person.

And I know the cap on motes goes up with each god you create which means that you can already use 68 motes worth of Miracles already for +66, you don't need your Forge to give +2 to each god on your side.

14 actually I believe, 4 of which are Demi-Spirits and don't have enough slots to equip the forge.

Where did you get 68? If it goes up by 4 for each Major-Spirit the cap would only be 52.

Create your own Utility Divine Artifact if you're so worried about it.

Only you and Jester are involved in the combat bonus besides me.
