Meet Barbara Thorson.

She a kid with problems. She has problems with authority, controlling her anger, her home life, her self image, and with separating fantasy from reality.
She also has problems with giants.

Big problem, but not the biggest. Barbara has a noble weapon to protect her, her great warhammer Coveleski.

Thank you. "I Kill Giants" is a terrific comic and I would recommend it to anyone.
Also, this might not be the correct place to ask, but how do I post normally without replying to someone? I can't seem to find how.
Now for content.

Esmeralda "Granny" Weatherwax from Discworld. A witch who walks just on the right side of the line between a good witch and a bad witch. very stern, very stubborn, and very respected. Some of her exploits include:
- Jumping a whole country forward in time so she wouldn't have to wait for a prophesy to be fulfilled.
-Winning a magic duel with a Voodoo witch using only psychology.
-Forcing her mind into a whole hive-full of bees and taking them over.
-Grabbing a sword by the blade to make a point and then just not bothering to bleed until after she got home.
-Having such force of will that when bitten by a vampire she dose not become one. Instead the Vampire become more like her.
Probably one of the best examples of her character was when she challenged death to a game of cards for the life of a child and wins. Afterward, the following exchange occurs:  
I have to know. What would have happened if I had not...lost?
'At the cards, you mean?'
Yes. What would you have done?
Granny laid the baby down carefully on the straw, and smiled.
'Well,' she said, 'for a start... I'd have broken your bloody arm.'

I know pretty much everyone is going to dissagree with me on this one, but for the actual Badass contest, I'm going ot have to give it to Link from legend of zelda.

He spends most of his time fighting hellish abomination and raiding god forsaken cripts, and still has the audacity to wear said green tunic, plus the fact that in most of them he's barely even ten or thirteen.
