Yes, it would be a fun power to use. One of the only weaknesses is being thrown onto the sun or a similarly dangerous environment, as detailed on the page.

That's really a weakness for most powers.

Yeah, but this would allow you to survive it, only once there, it would be useless.

You'd have to select Invulnerability, heat immunity or something similar to survive, but you would then suffocate, starve, dehydrate or simply die of old age because you didn't have enough time to select and use a different power. It would be a matter of time, since they could't change powers without killing themselves, even if it was to another power which would enable survival:
1) Power of Imagination*? You could change your situation entirely, but it offers no protection.
2) Teleportation? Would let you leave with ease, but oyu would die first.
3) Heat Eater*? Solves the starvation problem, but it would be too much heat and radiation and gravity would still kill you.
4) Safety Net*? Maybe, if the changing of powers itself doesn't kill you. Even if so, you do not know where you will be on Earth.

Also, I have thought of a scenario: Your power changes each month and these powers have been some of them.

New power: Safety Net*.

Yeah, pretty much the same things I would do with immortality. I may also use it as a fast mode of transpotation to random places on earth.

I would use it as a hiding spot, provide supplies to those in need and get any item I desire.

Those are really the standard, so has anyone come up with a better idea?

Don't you remember? No-one else can enter your supply room.

In combination with immortality though, you could survive heat death in the supply room, then once it is safe, push some equipment outside of the supply room to form a habitation complex, including an airlock and a living area for other immortals brought through the airlock, as well as a nicer area to live.

I would use it for supplies. There isn't much you can do with this power that's unique. Unless you have other superpowers.
