Gnome: An underground tunnel system guarded by man eating monsters nearly unavigatable by man? no prob.

I"m thinking gnome a combination of Mulch diggums and an earth spirit, minus the farts. It should entitel you to basically swim through earth as easily as a human walks, and push our way through solid objects while having control over earth, and sonar capabilities allowing you to basically map out a surrounding area of fifty or so feet.

Golem: ME SMASH PUNY TROLL!!!!! BY THE WAY, MAGIC CIRCLE OFF BY TWO POINT THREE FOUR DEGREES ON THE SPELL TRIAD CONVERSION!!!! GOLEM SMASH

Basically super strength, accompanied by the ability to manipulate metal and earth rather easily. As a construct you have the ability to dismantle yourself and control the peices from a distance. In addition to this, golems have an innate ability to read magical circles and enchantment, but that's golems, the human themselves have their own abilities in addition to this.

Take my character for example, he was basically a draconic warrior priest.

The ability to punch in 360 degrees.

But seriously, 360 degree vision (8 heads ought to achieve that), super strength, lots of arms to use it with. Also, if the hybridization imparts knowledge I would have an intimate understanding of the plane of Tatarus.

Also chain guns. Basically, I want to be the teams Heavy Assault Guy.

And that's a bad thing?

I'm picturing him smoking several cigars, dressed like a mobster from an old movie.

Dunno why.

Hybridization only impars slight memories, like how to do general activites. but the human himself can have an extensive knowledge of Tartarus.

Example, mine was raised by a dragon.

another example. Zale was a changeling kidnapped by the pied piper.

 "Trust the Midas Touch"

But, um, King Midas eventually lost his power, giving it back up to the god Dionysus, the one who bestowed it in the first place, after he aurified his daughter with it. His daughter was restored, but Dionysus cursed him for his foolishness by forcing him to spend the rest of his life with donkey ears (apparently for being a jackass with his power).

Well, a brief period of research pegged them as having control over earth and sometimes plants, the ability to move through the earth (or plants) with ease, the ability to grow in size (Rarely) and some influence over melancholic impulses.

Yes, actually it does. Golems have their origins in Jewish tradition. They had the word "EMET" inscribed on their foreheads (I forget what it means), but if they had the "E" erased, they would die, because "MET" means "death" in that language.

And maybe some of Dionysus' divine mojo stuck around in Midas' genes long enough to be inherited by one of Midas' descendants?

Yep, Jester was right. Your character will likely be a Jew, or have some connection to Judaism.
