how would you handle the touching problem with the ghost pokemon and pokemon that are about ten times your size.

For ghosts i would probably switch pokemon, but im assuming that no matter pokemon size most of the trainers are normal size.

You only have to touch them once to gain their powers. You retain the powers of the current Pokemon until you switch it up by touching another Pokemon. Or you could just touch the same Pokemon and give them back their powers...

Uggggghhhh, I'm gonna edit the rules on the first page...

@Jester and Phi: You don't start off with powers. You start off with Pokemon. They bestow their abilities to you when you touch them. That's why it's important to choose your six (to set up which powers you can choose from, to start)

NO! Of course not; that would be like I was manufacturing a world of Sylars...No, the powers vary when you have contact with different Pokemon you've captured...

I dont know what kind of character i'll have so im going to start with the pokemon for now.

Shedinja (Bug / Ghost)

Attribute- Wonder Guard - Can only be hit by things that are super-effective.
Shadow sneak (Ghost)- I can turn into and move as a shadow.
Swords Dance (Normal)- Passive ability that increases my attack.
X-scissor (Bug)- Special finishing move.
Will-o-wisp (Fire)- Inflicts Burn status if it hits.

Houndour (Dark / Fire)

Attribute- Flash Fire- Absorbs Fire moves and converts them into damage boost.
Flame Thrower (Fire)- Fire Blasts
Dark Pulse (Dark)- Dark energy blasts
Nasty Plot (Dark)- Beserk effect
Hidden Power (Fighting)- Fighting type energy bolts

Magnemite (Electric / Steel)

Attribute- Magnet Pull - I can pul magnetic things, specifically steel pokemon.
Thunderbolt (Electric)- Lighting attack
Flash Cannon (Steel)- Reflective Blast
Hidden Power (Ice)- Ice type energy bolts
Magnet Rise (Electric)- Levitate With magnetism

Machop (Fighting)

Attribute- No Guard - My moves are 100% accurate, but so are my opponents.
Focus Blast (Fighting)- I punch out a blast of energy
Earthquake (Ground)- Causes shock waves
Rockslide (Rock)- Send Rushing rocks at foe.
Substitute (Normal)- Create a Substitute to absorb damage.

Abra (Psychic)

Attribute- Synchronize - Status affects are bounced back on the user
Psychic (Psychic)- Psychic energy attack
Focus Blast (Fighting)-I punch out a blast of energy
Shadow Ball(Ghost)- Launch Shadow balls
Recover (Normal)- Self Heal

Turtwig (Grass / (Ground))

Overgrow- Increases attack when i have low health
Earthquake (type)- Causes shock waves
Wood Hammer (Grass)- Bash with wooden weapon
Stone Edge (Rock)- Shoot Rock shards
Synthesis (Grass)- Absorb light to heal
