So, to continue the 3.5 game I'm playing it.
Due to missing a bit of the last session, I picked up at the boss fight of a bandit camp.
Big Beefy Guy dual-wielding great-axes..
Two hounds..
A skinny wizard.
First combat round..
Rogue walks (Not sneaks) straight up to one of the dogs and stabs it half to death.
The Beef knocks her into the negatives.
Our Cleric flutters over to heal her and zap the Beef. (Somehow)
She narrowly avoids being eaten by hounds.
Wizard uses Forces Missiles on a few of us.
Knight provokes Beef.
Barbarian roars and knocks one of the hounds out. I think.
I try to turn the wizard into a frog, and quicken a dispel against him (In case of buffs). Frog fails, and he has no buffs (Oddly).
Rogue uses racial ability (She's a modified 4e race) to teleport into shadows, and begins sneak attacking. Peppers a few people to overt effect.
Beefy guy pounds on Knight, making it clear the Knight won't survive many more rounds.
Cleric tries to Blind both the Beef and Wizzie. Fails.
Hounds attack someone, and fail.
Wizard casts a Prismatic spell of some sort on all of us.
I'm poisoned, everyone else is fine.. except the knight. He keeps rolling eights.
Ends up caught on fire, burned by acid, shocked and turned to stone twice. He'll be rolling a new character.
Barbarian roars up to try to take a chunk out of the Beef, not being very successful.
I give into my DM's urgings..
You see, this whole battle he was making remarks about my poor spell choices. I loose my temper and say..
"Fine. I guess I'll kill everyone then."
My Maximized Fireball drops the Beef, Hounds and nearly kills the Wizard, who teleports off.
The upside to this fight is that I get the Wizard's spellbook, which includes that Prismatic Spell, Force Missile and eighteen other spells of my choosing.
Recall that my DM lets Wizards act like sorcerers.
I also managed to get a ring that "Controls Fire" the Dm said it could duplicate nearly any Fire spell effect.. but only work a number of times per day up to his personal whim.
So, I'd like to ask for Spell Suggestions and Fire Usage Suggestions.
