The Kethencian College of Magic RP (Part 3)

[Philote]

The top collides against Zauber's shield and it strains to hold before another object impacts the top. Zauber's shield and the concave lens behind Lennon fades. The force from the two impacts causes the two grappling foes to be thrown back to the ground.

Motes hang readily around Zauber, but he is too dazed immediately after the impacts to utilize them.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Asoka notices that she's boxed in on all sides and if possible kicks back and forth rapidly, rising with each kick until she's out of the box. If not possible, Asoka puts on her brass knuckles and ignites fires around them before punching the walls as hard as she can.

[Marvelous Miscreant]

Lennon takes this chance to ignite his fists with flame, punching Zauber with extreme malice."Looks, like you lose again! How do ya like dem apples?"

[Marvelous Miscreant]

The wall cracks slightly with each punch and the flames char and scorch the earth. Lug hold the walls, up as best he can. Still, it will take awhile to break completely through.

[Philote]

Lennon's flaming hand strikes the same shoulder that got burned before and Zauber cringes in pain. Another shield flares up on Zauber in reaction and he swings out with his left hand in reaction.

Lennon turns his head as Zuber's fist connects with it. He was getting beaten like a drum. It was time to cheat.

"Lug, Now!"

Lug leaves his post to tackle Zauber off Lennon.

[Philote]

Zauber's shield was no match for for the Golem simply tackling Zauber's whole body away.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Asoka continues pounding away at the walls to break through as there appears to be nothing else she can do.

[Marvelous Miscreant]

While Lug crushes Zauber, Lennon stands up and brushes himself off. He grins maliciously as Zauber is attacked. Just then, Asoka finally manages to blast through the earth walls that had been holding her.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Asoka rushes forward scooping Murasaki from the ground and charges at Lug to knock him off of Zauber.

[Philote]

Zauber sees Asoka rushing forward to help him and creates a shield wall behind Lug's legs so that she will be able to topple him.

[Marvelous Miscreant]

Lug hardly moves as Asoka charges him. His massive size holds him in place. However, Asoka manages to move him just enough for Zauber's shield to trip him.

Lennon grimaces at the scene as his top spins faster and faster behind him. Flames erupt from it as its speed increases.

[Philote]

As Lug falls, Zauber falls out of his grip and rolls away. After a moment, Zauber stumbles to his feet and renews his shield with one of his last two remaining motes.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Due to knocking Lug off of Zauber, Asoka falls onto the ground near him, but as soon as Zauber is out of Lug's reach, Asoka gets back up and notes that Lennon's Mage Tool is spinning rapidly. In response, Asoka has Murasaki ignite with purple flames, then throws Murasaki at the top in such a way that Murasaki is also spinning.

[Marvelous Miscreant]

Murasaki gets caught up in the whirlwind of flame that the top has become. Lennon yells something unintelligible over the roar of the flames. Lug responds to the shout and charge towards Lennon, who leaps onto Lug's back. Lug continues running, carrying Lennon with him away from the fight. The tornado of searing flames that is emanating from the top twists towards Zauber and Asoka, preventing them from following.

"See you next time losers!" Lennon shouts back over his shoulder before disappearing around a corner with Lug.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Asoka looks at the inferno quickly before backing away and yelling at Zauber, regardless of whether she is heard or not, "Let's get away from the flames, Zauber, it doesn't look like we want to be anywhere nearby when this thing stops."

[Marvelous Miscreant]

The top began to wobble dangerously, spewing liquid flame onto the streets and buildings. Finally, without Lennon to support it, it collapsed into a fiery pile and disappeared. Presumably it was returning to Lennon.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Asoka stops backing away and walks over to Murasaki and picks it up after quenching the flow of mana to the Mage Tool, "Zauber, Piper, shall we head back to the college?"

[Marvelous Miscreant]

Piper seems to have hidden in the shop and does not answer.

[Philote]

*I need to get stronger* Zauber mutters to himself.

"We didn't exactly win, but at least we held our own" he says to Asoka. "I'm going to go check on Piper, it is probably wise to head back to our dorms for the rest of the day."
