"Yes, well, I suggest we clear the scene anyway. Having to come and find you might give her time to calm down. So, if you would care to join us, we have business."

Billy ushers Eric and the group down the hallway and a flight of stairs to come face to face with a large iron door. Tiberius pushes it open, and the five of them enter waste management.

A large furnace dominates the back of the room, embers glow from its bowls. Piles of garbage lay scattered about the room. Old food and magical waste all piled together in random heaps. Broken staffs, old cauldrons, half scribbled runes and even rusted jewelry can be seen sticking from different piles.

In the far corner of the room lay what is left of the spiders. Most have already been reduced to ash, and others are broken and crushed. However, a few remain intact.

They didn't have the queen. That was very disappointing. He couldn't even imagine the number of spiders that were in this room just a few days ago. Still, they were lucky that not all of them had been disposed of yet.

He turns at Eric question. "Yes. We are going to take these back to my dorm to examine and dissect them. Alright, everyone grab a spider, the bigger the better, the wholer the better! I don't know if what we are doing is against the rules or not, but I would prefer not to find out, so lets do this quickly."

As he moves toward the spider bodies Billy catches the jewelry out of the corner of his eye. He quickly bends down and grabs up some of the more choice bracelets and necklaces. They would come in handy for something he had planed.

He then moved over to the biggest spider he thought he could lift and hoisted it up. The hairs on it suck painfully into his arms and it smelled like roadkill. Then, Bill got a better Idea. He dropped it, and picked up one of the smaller spiders. Relatively smaller at least, about the size of a small dog.

He then picked his way through the bits and pieces. A few pieces of leg, some fangs, shards of smashed carapace, all of these things he filled the pockets of his robe with.

I shield myself and grab a whole spider, despite its sharp hairs. "I should have enough mana to protect myself until we get back to the dorms." I say trying to ignore being creeped out by carrying a dead spider.

"I could keep the body cold on the way back so it doesn't decay as fast." Samuel points out.

"That's an excellent idea, Mr. Irving, but the bodies have been here several days. Anything that was going to decompose already has and freezing won't change that. Besides, these are going to be examined immediately so there's no need."

Billy adjusts his robes. He's collected as many parts as he's going to need for what he has planed.

"Although" he says, holding out his smaller spider "This one I plan on holding on to, so if you could freeze it when we get there I would be in your dept."

He surveys everyone. They all seem to have their spiders, all seem to be relatively intact.

"All right, if someone stops us just act natural. Let's go! " Billy says, opening the door and leading the group to the Death dorms and the crypt, alternatively *jangling* and *squelching* with every step.

Several students give the group strange looks as they parade down the hall trailing the dead spiders behind them.

Billy would wave except for the armful of spider. But, besides the stares, the trip is mostly uneventful. Soon, they reach the gloomy shade of the Death Wing.

"Alright, the morgue is right through there, first door on your left. You can't miss it, it's the one that smells like formaldehyde. Feel free to make yourselves comfortable.I'll be right down, I just have to drop this load off in my room." Billy didn't want to say that he also needed a change of clothes. He didn't know what, if anything, got spider seepage out, but he would have to make an effort.

He made his way to his room and placed his spider on the table. He then began unloading his pockets of all the spare fangs, rusty jewelry, rusty metal, bits or leg and carapace and, book. All of the trash bits were arranged neatly into piles around the spider. The book he threw onto his bed. He then took off his second viscera stained robe of the week and put on a fresh one. Satisfied, he set out again, but stopped in the doorway. He reached among his curly blond hair, and plucked out one of the longer ones. This he carefully inserted between the door and the frame as he was closing the door.

Billy stepped back and admired his handiwork. Now he would know if anyone entered his room while he was away.

Billy bounded down the stairs, turned into the hallway, and entered the morgue. He was giddy.

"Alright, set the biggest spider on the table," he said, picking out a bone saw to cut through the creatures exoskeleton. "Now, I'm going to admit, I have no first hand experience doing this. But I've seen it done, and we have at least four chances at getting this right."

Billy pulls on a pair of rubber gloves and dons a medical mask.

"All right, beginning the operation!"

Billy saws apart the abdomen of the spider, and pry's it open.

There, inside was....

...Nothing. The spider was completely hollow. There were no organs, no muscles, no fluids. As the assembled student lookd with confusion into the empty shell of the spider it began to glow.

Slowly the now glowing spider carcass began to shrink and change. Finnaly all that remained was a bundle of sticks tied together with what appeared to be hair to look like a small spider.

The stick spider lay harmlessly on the table.

Billy is dumbfounded. He stares, wide eyed, at the stick bundle, his mouth slightly ajar.

"But, but..." He's at a loss for words. Finally he finds some.

"But there was goo! They were filled with goo! I had goo on me!"

Billy approaches another spider and saws that one open as well.
