At first you can mange simple comunication with shade and spectres and can raise smaller animals to do your bidding.

Small fireballs...summon short heat blasts....heat metals in a short range

Pretty much...every once in awhile someone decides that they are way more powerful than they should be in an RP and it ruins gameplay. Just avoid that.
