Depends on why it's floating.

If it's because of some mix up with gravity then it would be difficult to stay on the islands.

If it's because of technology, then staying on would be easy.

If it's because of electromagnetic stuff, then having metal items would be silly or disastrous, depending on the intensity of the electromagnetism.

Well, it would be much windier than normal islands due to being higher in the air and closer to slipstreams. It would also be much cooler, and possibly freezing depending on altitude.

Rain would be a constant nuisance, but that all well and fine because water wouldn't stay on the islands for very long.

'Tornado's wouldn't be possible if the island is small enough or if it isn't flat so that's a bonus, but hurricane winds would be doubly terrifying.

Earthquakes and tsunamis would also be impossible on the islands. As well as volcanoes.

Definitely, otherwise it'd evaporate or roll off the island too fast.,

So, ideally, people would attempt to live around lakes or natural water basins..


And, unless there were some means to leave individual islands, you'd be fairly isolated..

Unless the islands move in relatively stable patterns relative to each other, so that they'd be closer to each other at various times.
