Here's some interesting stuff on the Fey.

Firstly they have no inherent boundaries in the literal sense. Everything is not part of one organism, everything is one organism. However, while in this state, nothing can interact with another, because they cannot have will, volition or even action. By taking on boundaries, they gain identity and distinctness but lose much of the power of the whole.

So the most fundamental boundary is a mind, the mind gives a continuity and identity to a given being, without a mind they won't remain distinct for long, and will just meld or disperse before long. However, since all they are is their thoughts, their ideas must be to some extent real, or it threatens their own stability. So when they say something, the world reflects it as truth(true magic) and glamour(lesser magic, without enough power to stay real). When they give their word, it is binding upon them, because their word is what keeps their identity, breaking it would break them.

I remember coming across that in my Google-spelunking, while searching for numerous different kinesis powers.

Tis a bizarre site indeed.

Interesting. One of them told me more about these Willed Soul things.

Apparently, a human soul goes to the Verse (I'm guessing Astral Plane or something) after death and decides to just chill there, nomming on the passing souls. Eventually it gets powerful and reincarnates..

So beware, for I was a soul nomming ghostying thingy in a past afterlife.

I came up with some innovative names for numerous kinesis powers. The powers themselves existed before I came along, but the names I make up, I'm sure, are pretty original.

Lunarkinesis (ugh, SO prickly on my tongue) sounds better when referred to as Selenekinesis (seh-lean-ee-kinesis), Selenokinesis (seh-lean-oh-kinesis), Menekinesis (mean-ee-kinesis) or Menokinesis (mean-o-kinesis).

Even LUNAkinesis.

But not LUNAR. That is a hideous bastardized form that gives kinesis powers a bad name.

Lunarkinesis just seems.. off.. somehow.

Anyway, I saw someone referencing it as the manipulation of negative energy. Somehow.

I actually corrected a few people. Some of them seem to be drawing info from things they've read or seen on T.V...

It does make for a fascinating read. Plenty of ideas that I can adapt for some story or other.
