Year 2XXX

          At twelve Oclock New Years Day a bright light passed by the planet, unlocking a super natural shockwave of Apocalyptic proportions. For days afterward the world was surrounded in Chaos as several members of the human animal and plant population of earth began to mutate and evolve at an excellerated rate. The luckiest were gifted with powers beyond imagination, and the unlucky ones were branded as monsters cast aside from society and sent adrift in the vastly growing underworld, Several floating cities of the Olympus project, a terestrial city experiment in which the capitals and various influential citiesof the world and it's citizens were to be sent adrift in the skies as social experiments.

          However even though they escaped from the brunt of the Chaos the power fo the event continues to plaugue the planet, and every so often, a human gains powerful abilities beyond the normal scope of their species. These individuals are known as Metas. These Metas go about their lives in secrecy knowing that as the chaos ensues and super powered lunatics still run rampant, they would be ostracised for their gifts. However, even in this day and age crime runs rampant throughout the city, now accompanied by these new mutations the police force can do little to stop them. Several Meta's have taken it upon themselves to become the new Justice, erradicating the evil that the police cannot handle, forming a new breed of heroes.

       You are one of these "Meta's" and you shall go about your life as a denizen of the floating city Pegasus. It is up to you to decide your fate, shall you become a vigilanty hero, the mastermind of a criminal organization, or the saviour or doom of Humanity. Your adventure starts now.




OOC: Okay sorry for the insanely large chunk of text but that pretty much covers everything. Every few weeks or so to a month the cities need to dump themselves into a recharging station. Which is inside of a walled community/fueling station. During which we've got about a thirty percent chance of being atttacked by a hyper evolved mutant creature that breaks through the defense. Otherwise life is pretty much similiar to life today except only slightly advanced medicine and technology, so no hovercars, but their are a few energy weapons in the work and Carbon nano fiber has become a household appliance. I'll correct any details I could have missed later, So what do you think.

Down an empty alley, a man walks, his body slowly fading out of the dimension. "I'm tired of being nobody." His faded body being replaced by a taller figure. "Its time to make a face this city won't forget."

A new figure emerges from the alley. With wooden skin and a business suit. From behind him, a looming shadow becomes solid and hangs over him.

For the longest time , Marv had worked as a construction worker. He longed to get out of his current job and do something more meaningful, but he knew he could not. Too many people would stop him due to his unussual gift. His gift made him an excellent construction worker and it was the only reason he was allowed to live in the city. Marv could change his body into any form of earth related matierial. So for now he was stuck in his job...

But some day soon everything would change.

Neo walked down the hall in a grand court. The marble floor and pillars lining the way to the double doors and outside. How peculiar it seemed, he was one of the youngest, if not the youngest, lawyers in history and already being involved in dozens of cases brought to Pegasus City's supreme court. All the others seemed too willing to do what he asked, for fear of his gift. Ah, well, I suppose that it could be worse. He walked into the sunlight and focused on his briefcase without looking at it, "Hover", "Follow". The briefcase i floated next to him and trailed after him as he walked along.

The next morning, police were baffled by the appearance of two known robbers at their doorsteps that when questioned mentioned a puppet man.

Making his way through the shadows, still largely unknown to the city, I make my way towards a construction yard where I have heard that a heist of the supplies is soon to go down.

I arrive at the construction site as the sun is setting and begin scouting the area from on top of a nearby building. The thing that becomes obvious fast is that there is another superhuman made of stone excavating the ground. I believe this to be the person I heard would be targeting the construction site and prepare to pin him down with my shadow. Before I do though, three figures carrying guns attract my attention from the corner of my eye, and I decide back off and work my way behind them.

Marv worked on the construction sites in secret from the public. The company he worked for kept him hidden so as not to alarm the public.

One day however, thing changed. The manager came to see him. He had bad news for Marv.  He told Marv that he was no longer needed. They had just purchased several robots that could do his job faster and more efficiently. Plus they would not have to be hidden from the public.

Marv had a week left to work, and then he would be fired. The news was devastating. Marv returned home that night and began to formulate a plan. He had nothing left to lose. He had no family, no friends and no job. It was time to take drastic measures.

The next day on the construction site was the strangest day of Marv's Life. It was late in the day and he was just finishing up some work and preparing to leave. The thought that his days of work were numbered weighed heavily on his mind. As he walked through the site he noticed two men walking through the area. He called to them.

"Hey, you're not workers. You're not supposed to be back here."

The superhuman i spotted earlier spotted me as I made my way around behind were the thieves were walking, and called out to me. Not knowing that the armed thieves were present. The thieves heads jerked around, suddenly aware of his presence and raised their guns.

More men appeared armed and dangerous. The situation was starting to turn sour.

Marv's fists slowly turned to metal underneath his gloves as did his chest. If these men fired he would be ready, but he couldn't reveal his powers just yet.

The thee men were now surrounded and decided to just between two stacks of lumber for protection. The first of the group opened fire and shot at me, but luckily I was prepared and was able to hide behind my shadow.

The men ducked behind cover and opened fire.

"What in the world?" I yelled.

Marv stands baffled at the scene before him. Two other civilians with powers were helping to take down the would-be thieves.
