Suddenly Marv is snapped out of his confusion as bullets tear through his clothing and ricochet of his metallic body.

"Oh, you did not just shoot at me!"

"I can only use my shadow on one of them, are you guys able to subdue the others?"

"Of course" I say as my whole body turns to metal and I slowly walk towards the two remaining thieves.

"Hava 'nagila, hava nagila, hava nagila V'nishmeha"' I walk aimlessly down the street singing to myself and drawing a few stares from wearing a heavy jacket in the middle of the summer, "Hava nagila, hava nagila, hava nagila Vnishmecha."I pass a construction site and see out of the corner of my eye a group of people fighting three of which appear to have powers, the rest have guns. "Hava neranenah, hava neranenah, hava neranenah v''nismeh." and continue walking.

"Arent you going to help them?""

"Üru uru a....nope , they look like they can handle it. Uru ura ahim uru Uru ahim."

'''Don't make me hurt you."

"Okay fine, I take a quick glance of my surroundings before ducking into an ally and holding my right hand in front of my face. It breifly envolopes itself in fire as a black and white mask forms over my face, hiding all of it's featrues. "Okay then,"I say reluctantly a second before I woke up, "Let's go."

I quickly dispatch one of the remaining thieves with a quick jab to the face. My metal fist breaks his jaw and he collapses on the floor. I then look to the one help in place by the shadow. I knock him unconsious as well with a chop to the back of his head.

"Darn it, It aint worth it to face these freaks." One of the Theives who was hiding earlier, slinks away from the fight before running away from the construction sight into a near by ally, "I don't get paid enough for..."

"Hello Psycho."

The theif screams and fires hsi gun randomly in my direction, I dodge to the right, duck, and flow foward thrusting my right hand wrapped in the flames of creation at his face and pinning him to the wall. "Calcification," A strange white slightly see through substance begins covering his body leaving holes for breathing of course.

"MRmph" The thief raises his gun pointing it at me as the left side of his body begins to be covered in matter. Seeing this I quickly grab the chamber of the gun with my left hand and release a quick spurt of the flames of destruction. I don't have enough time destroy it completely, and the gun fires, but the bullet moves forward slowly and bounces off the edge of my jacket.

"Always disarm your opponent first," I say holding up my index finger, "And when that fails disarm the weapon itself" lucky for me the gun powder is easier to destroy than the metal encasing it. I grab the gun and crush it, the flames of destruction lessening it's density until it's about as hard as aluminum foil. "Shame I could have sold that on the black market." The matter had covered most of the thiefs body, and I let go just as it was covering the rest of his right foot. "okay now just to peeol him from the wall and drop him off at the local..."I hear footsteps of one of the Metas from before, "Ah darn it." I leap upward grabbing onto the fire escape above me and phase through a window into the building just as one of they round the corner.

"EEEEEK,"

"Ah, crud," Ignoring the freaked out person to my right, and the stinging palm print on my face I exit the building and make my way back into the street, allowing the mask to disperce as I pass throgh the door.

"No good dead goes unpunished as they say."

"Ah, shut up Jester."

The thugs were taken care of and it seems the fight gained the attention of several super powered individuals.

"I'm going to stick around and get the authorities. I'm pretty sure that one thieve needs an ambulance also."

"W-Who are you guys? I didn't think there were any other Metas in the city"

"I'd prefer not to give my real name, but to answer your question I just got my powers recently."

"I understand why you won't give me your name, but it's good to know I'm not alone."

I walk out of the shadows near the other Metas, having watched them dispatch the criminals.

"If you thought that, then you were mistaken. I'm a geneticist from GenoTech. I came by as you 3 were dispatching these thieves. I was hoping to find some other Metas as well."

"Well, I guess you found some."

As I look around at our handywork I notice a man stuck to a nearby wall.

"Well that's certainly odd"

I walk over to the trapped thief and peel him off the wall and toss him to the ground.

"I guess I should be going now. Take this, in case something happens." I hand the construction worker a card with a phone-number and address on it as I walk away.

I observe the other metas some more and contemplate what the appearance of so many means. While i'm in thought the police and local media arrive. "Time to introduce myself and make a get away"

"Oh No, if I am exposed I'll lose what little money the company owes me."

I slip the stranger's card into my pants and flee the scene.

I turn in the criminals to the police and explain my goal of helping the city. I decide to use my shadow and scale a building though before they decide that they want to take me in as well.
