I'm certainly open to it.
Hopefully, by then, I'll have gotten better at participating in other RPs, not to mention running my own.

I was one of the only people posting in the first one (It died too young ) so I'll definitely jump in if you start another one. Your writing is very good.
Also, would love to see people jumping back into rps more frequently. I need to step up my own post speed as well.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

Yeah, we all need to. I've noticed my slacking lately...

You could start by posting in the apocalypse thread I don't want Nix dealing with the current situation all by himself.
Then do something in LoC already

You're actually in a pretty good position to deal with him if you figure out his power.

Possibly, I just don't want it to be anticlimactic and have Nix solve everything while the other guys just watch from the edge.

I've been doing stuff in LOC.
Just, um, not with Uburra-Namall. Still, I may even get back to working with her soon.

For character generation in the quest, I'm thinking of having everyone describe a hypothetical video game and I'll pick one of them and use the description of one of them to generate your starting code.

Sounds like a great idea. I can't wait to see how this all turns out. I'll get started on brainstorming.

Hm...interesting.
I hope I'm some help in that area...I'm woefully video-game deficient, and similarly deficient in gaming know-how.

@Vault: Have any more info about this?
So I've been working last couple days in a produce department for a temporary summer job. My posting might be odd until I get used to managing my new amount of free time. Anyways, I had this idea of where the occupations you've had determine the powers you've had while being bored at work. My question: What would your characters be if they had powers based on your previous / current occupations (Clubs/Etc acceptable if no job is available) I've got a Walmart Triforce going on since I've worked there three times now in order to have jobs between semesters. 1. Cart Pusher (Carts = Vehicles / Metal, Texas Summer Heat = Heat Manipulation / Resistance) 2. Grocery (Various food / chef / supply powers) 3. Produce (Produce = plant powers, Freezer = ice powers)

The game character wakes up at that beginning of their game and doesn't do anything because no one is moving them. Something happens and they're introduced to something called the Glitched, creatures which are destroying game worlds. At that same time, though, slain glitched sometimes drop lines of code that a different character can insert into themselves to change their capabilities. This can be done at a certain place.
I'm taking a lot of inspiration from Kid Radd, an amazing comic witch everyone should read. A character, while not completely bound by their programming, is heavily influenced by it. For example: there is no gravity. A character falls at the rate they were programmed to fall at, and only dies from it if they're designed to take damage from it. NPCs are, generally, unkillable but also can't do anything to damage you. Enemies, even if they're your friends, could accidentally kill you if you touch them. After you escape your game you wind up in the town of Bit City, founded by a player character called CHARNAME, and we go from there. Every character would have a list of traits, determined by what sort of character and game you describe. For example, your orc shaman would have something like. >HP: 1 >Damaged by: Hostile Hitbox >Effect: Blue Bubble. Capable of making a blue bubble within a certain range that slows down all within it. >Effect: Teleportation. It able to teleport a short distance. > > Those two empty spaces are empty spaces in his code, where codes picked up from defeated Glitched can be inserted. In addition, a glitched code can be used to modify an existing trait. Traits can also be removed, but only with the help of certain equipment. Don't think you can just removed your damaging condition and become invincible, however. Any modification made to your code causes weird complications that makes it so that you're damageable. You become slightly glitched, and that means you can be damaged no matter what. Good news, though, because that means that glitched NPCs aren't unstoppable.

I missed this before.

Vault's actions in NB has made me think that an arena match where we use our SPL site powers as we gained them chronologically would be fun. For example, you would start with your oldest gained power, then as soon as you used it you would switch to your second oldest power and continue from there.

First match: Marv vs Vault?
Going to have to be careful Marv, Vault has already been practicing.
