Alright, I'll add both then.
Remember, a lot of how this system works is interpreting the combinations in many different ways. Life Force and Spiritual do not necessarily have to work exactly the same each time they are used in a combination. Since the idea you got for Spiritual is different than what I thought for it, that means its a good option to include because it can be interpreted enough ways to make multiple characters.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |
Cool.
So, you said you also needed territories? That should be easier.

Yeah, territories should be the easiest as long as we get enough diversity. I have not worked on it much yet though so it is the one that needs the most filling in.
Should I post the list for it or do you just want to just list out what territories you can think of?

Sorry, I've been responding from my e-mail and it gives no context as to the conversation and I was reading a line of the LoC posts, so I assumed on accident that this one was LoC too.
Anyways, I remember the Minuses, they were Abnormals who had lost something in their lives and gained a power because of that loss. And no, you did not imagine the smiling. Every single Minus smiles so umuch, it's hard to imagine that they actually had traumatic backgrounds. Think of Goku smiling in combat, that was how the Minuses smiled all the time. But, yes, the Minuses were cool. I'm going to sleep now, since I'm starting to mix up threads, which is not a good thing.

So maybe a power source could be Embodiment, or Avatarism? As in, being an avatar or embodiment of something?

Would probably be easier, but I think I can give one right now: Derelict.

This is better than life energy Phi.
I'm also kinda digging getting powers from something you lost, but I think I'll wait for Dryad to come back and ask her the specifics of how that worked.

Could you explain? I'm not familiar.

A derelict. An abandoned wreck of some kind. It's very broad and evocative.

Would that be the same thing as ruins?

So you're suggesting Avatarism and Loss be included?

Ruins are usually freestanding structures, while a Derelict is something that's adrift. A ship, a plane, a spacehulk. Broken down, discarded, drifting freely from place to place.
Think ghost ship.

Well, you only have one free slot left. Life, loss, avatar: one of the three, whichever you like the feel of the best.

So should I add both ruins and derelicts?
I'll combine loss with accidents which I already have on the list. I think I'll go with Life Force over Avatarism. I included Aspect as an option within Body Type so I think that should be suitable to cover what Avatarism would offer.

Cool beans.
Add both if there's room. Or maybe put ruins in, and then have another category called abandoned. That way, we can have ancient jungle temples along with old cities, ghost ships, buildings, and amusement parks.

I'm not sure about having an Abandoned category, that seems more like a descriptor that would be added to the other territories when you design your character than a territory of its own.
Here is list so far:

Some of those are very similar to others so I don't think we should add them until we can't think of anything else to put.
How many biomes should I have on the list?

I figured most of them were covered by wilderness, but if not I'd say all of them. Well, all of the really broad ones.

I was thinking more of Jungles with Wilderness, but I might not be opposed to people using it for any sort of wild biome if they rolled it. I think I might include more biomes along side it anyways though.
I have Ocean, Artic/Tundra, and Desert now.
