If you're allowing us to also include our own classes (if we want), then I have so many to choose from!

Certainly not an archmage, which is too powerful, or a hag/crone, a sorceress or a witch (good or bad), which require that I'm female, but perhaps one of these:

a conjurer/summoner

a mystic
-mirror mystic
-optic mystic
-etc.

a puppeteer/controller

a sorcerer/sorcerer's apprentice
-vile sorcerer/swamp sorcerer/creepster

a warlock

a wizard

or a zealot

I think I might try something different and go with Protection as my first choice and Restoration as my second choice

Because of the manner in which they practice magic.

Like a mystic studies more arcane ways of doing things (saying spells in their original arcane language, reading from old tomes, etc), or a wizard studies like a maniac, whereas a sorcerer can rely on the help from dark forces, and natural mages can do spells by will.

Because i like to use those, honestly I'm pretty adept at prettty much every one of those but I find the ability to completely trick your opponents, alter the laws of physics, and control the minds and shapes of others amusing.
