What direction will this go in now?

Well, I would like it to be a collaborative effort.

Some ideas I feel would be good, but others I'm not so sure about.

I know I want to work with Ella Camphrey and Chris Parker (TBA in the RP), but Lilith Vandal-Savage and Samantha Trelaine...well, they'll take a bit more work. And the Mover is still involved in some convoluted scheme of Samantha's.

As far as things go, I'm up for any suggestions.

Well, some posts will have to be deleted, but for the most part, it's a pretty cohesive story.

As far as Lilith, she's got to have a new part in it. And I'm thinking a skirmish with Ella Camphrey. Paranoid as she is, Ella hears that people in Lilith's territory (Ben, Byne and Francesca) are allied with the new invaders that her henchwomen just encountered. She doesn't stay behind to figure out that the people are actually ENEMIES of Lilith Vandal-Savage, and so sends some of her best to mount a counter attack.

Who spreads the rumor of the invaders? An emissary of Samantha Trelaine, Alex the Shapeshifter, who is a double agent for the President.

And then maybe a flash of Wayne and such heading into New York, being greeted by the Overlord, Chris Parker.

So would she be getting these rumors from Alex through her own spies, or would he be reporting to one of her subordinates?

I would assume he would report to The Traveler, the only one who has the means to reach her in a short span of time.

Is there a cliff notes version of the Evolutionist's Stone story?  It's taking me a really long time to read it all.

The story in itself entails the distribution of superhuman abilities after a comet of mysterious origin comes to Earth. All of it dissolved in the atmosphere, except for a small portion, about palm-sized, which is rumored to be able to multiply superhuman abilities a thousandfold. When you first see our heroes, they are on different sides of the struggle to obtain the stone.

After the protagonist group obtains the stone, they use it to attempt to rally up support from the people of a nearby town (which in return will boost their morale, and get them talking about the hope they plan to bring with the stone). Except one problem; the stone itself is a big fat phony. It exists, but has absolutely no power at all. Now, the protagonists must attempt to use their powers to convince the people that they are as powerful as they seem.

Large outbreaks of radiation-based illness from the comet's arrival, increased drug, gang and criminal activity due to the electricity being off for nearly a year, and lastly the takeover of various overlords.

The overlords are extremely powerful (often but not always superhumans), and extremely clever and ruthlessly ambitious, superhuman or not. They have reign over their territories for a good reason; they are willing to do whatever it takes to establish their rule. Some conquer, some plot and scheme, some usurp the thrones of others, and some just want to expand their territory for drug and criminal trades. But all of them defend their land with unyielding might; some even establish alliances to strengthen the grip of their sovereignty.

As of now, we've taken out only Overlord Caleb Trelaine and his pothead brother Dane Trelaine Corrigan. We were working on taking down *spoiler alert*, all with the help of *spoiler alert*, before the story went on hiatus.

 I got now..... Thanks for the overview. I'm just going to read the last two pages to get the general flow of the story at that point and see if I can join in.

I hope you join in. It'll be fun to have some more interest in the story.

I think some of the others still read it, but honestly, telling the story all myself? Not fun after a while. It gets more like a job than fun. And worse yet, automatic plot-spoil.

Well, I got a few hours tommorow morning so I''l try to finish reading it then and get to thinking of a character.

And I'll get to thinking of our next course of action. Some interesting things are about to happen.

Oh, by the way, you DO know the narration scheme, right? If you need to narrate some of the other characters, feel free, as long as you write here a general idea of what you plan to do (especially if it includes a death, or something similarly serious).
