Yay for being a high school graduate!
I'm now qualified to flip burgers.

Don't seem so ho-hum about it.
You're also qualified to do retail stuff. HIGH-level retail stuff.

Kay, so just another reminded to Zale.
Do not forget. Do not forget. Do not forget. I just need you to read Evolutionist's Stone, it's not that hard. Participation is not required, though it is appreciated. Just please read it, and give me your opinion. Nothing you need to do other than give me your opinion. It's very simple. Not worth procrastinating over. Just get it done as soon as you can, please. No pressure, just pretty pleasey please with many, many cherries (and a couple more pleases) on top, please DO NOT FORGET. Please.

As soon as I respond to the thread's I've been partially ignoring for awhile.
Oddly enough, I feel more motivated to do things now. Must be slowly getting over being sick.

I need to start reading table-top game rulebooks whenever I start to loose roleplaying motivation.

So, you try to read the whole entire rulebook? Dang, I just go through the superpowers sections, or the creature sections, or the spell sections when I feel like I need inspiration.

You're not alone.
I'm getting back to my 'Superhuman Phenomena' Word doc, and feeling inspired to work on my Books of Celadon (to make and work on some more creatures). It's kinda nice to have new inspiration.

I read entire wikis in a few days for entertainment. Or a ten-year-long bi-weekly webcomic over a weekend.
Of course, the rulebook in question (Graceful Wicked Maques) is one of the most complicated and convoluted out of the entire bunch.. so I've never managed to read the whole thing. I try, though.

Ah, I see...
Then, surely, the Evolutionist's Stone is no match for the likes of your book-taming intellect, Sir Zaleramancer.

I'm reading through it now.

So, I should be looking for ways to improve what we're on now?
Though I am worried about having to change the content of people's posts.

Flores ruled a little fiefdom?
I'd forgotten about that. How about you?

Doesn't matter where you see needs to improve. Wherever you find errors, let me know. Changing the content of people's posts is not gonna too much of a problem. For the most part, we'll be closing up loopholes in plot continuity, retconning story details that lead nowhere, working out spelling/grammar kinks, etc. Hopefully, nothing too drastic.

I remembered.
I just wished I had mentioned it more to make sure that it was a fairly important part of his past. Also, I need to slip mention of the Evolutionist's Stone in more often. Not saturating the story, but a few more mentions wouldn't hurt. At least enough to let folks know the famed fable status of the eponymous stone.

See, that's what I'm talking about. I need to do some more character development, and past history and stuff...gosh, I feel like I left so much out, and did awkward story spacing.

It also could be a useful characterization tool.
More than anything else, we need to flesh out each of the main characters, so that they are instantly distinguishable from each other. So that if I say a name, anyone reading should be able to instantly mentally link that to the character. To avoid the whole "Jack? Which one is that again? The power senser or the half-demon?"

Ok.
I would recommend that Gorak's appearance is more well-defined, hinting at the fact that he's in a golem. Why is it everyone's working together again?

Yes, I seriously want to do that. I just hope it won't require anything drastic. I think if I had to do too drastic a re-write, it might be jarring to my memory of the story. Though, if it'll help the story, I just may have to risk it...

I thought Cabral was north of where they started. And they started in Arizona. Unless I'm mistaken, the Panama Canal is south of that. Explanations?

See, that's why I need another critical eye. That was the time in the story when numerous people participated, and I could barely tell what was going on. I couldn't tell who was going where, or doing what, let alone correct any continuity errors.
See, this is why I'm tempted to give everyone Admin powers. So, if you see any errors, you can edit them yourself, without needing to tell me. It'd make work much more efficient for all of us.
