Well..

We're taking the current thread and splitting it into "Arcs".

The first of which would be from the beginning to roughly when.. he.. was defeated.

Then the next would follow up until the other overlords fell, and etc.

Then we reach the current one, where we split it into a separate thread for each team.

This makes everything much easier to follow. And, if someone wants to leap in and join, they only have to read the current thread to get a good grasp of what's going on- especially now, with everyone being everywhere.

Another idea would be a dramatis personae of sorts at the beginning of each arc thread. It gives a list of everyone participating in the arc (When someone else shows up, add them), with a link to their character sheet.

This keeps people from getting overwhelmed by the sheer number of characters. They know who's showed up in the thread, and who they are.

But, just for clarification:

This means that basically the current thread would end, and continue in another thread, from the point after He Who Must Not Be Named was defeated? If so, then each would end after the equivalent of only a couple thread pages.

Or maybe I'm understanding something...wrongly.

Yes.

Normally, because we usually make smaller posts, the RP would be several threads long.

But since the posts are so long, the RP is relatively short.

Hell, do you know how many words the posts of the second page have?

And admittedly, that does reduce confusion.

Hm...maybe the first would be best after all.

That's not a particularly long arc, from what I remember.

We're focusing on this part here, Wulf.

So, following my ideas, we'd figure out all the characters, compile them into a list and then move those posts over into a new thread with the list of names as the first post.

But it still leaves me with a question.

How exactly do the different arcs go when they split off into the different lands? We put all the posts from the same land into their own separate arcs, right?

Hmm...

The earlier ones seem fine, from my memory.

It's only recently when there have been several people in many different locations that it's warranted new threads.

We can see about that once I've reread the entire roleplay.
