Sorta like the Rara Objecti I started listing off in the Empowered Objects thread... yeah, well, that's great but it doesn't really have much to do with this thread...

whenever I say a random thing such as that consider it as me asking permission to post a few of the powers in that category.

Ideas for powers for anyone to use.Memory fire-the ashes of a object burned by this fire unless kept hot become the object as is was before being burned.Anti-fire .Anti-fire burns colder and colder below absolute zero. Time-fire.Anything burnt by time-fire never existed and history is rewritten. These come from a book I read. These might or might not work as powers....

Here are a few powers I'd like to add soon:
1) Con Activation: Cancels out the effects of Con Negation. It's an active power, so power protection won't work, although if your foe has a stronger copy of Con Negation than your Con Activation, they can cancel you out, albeit with reduced power. This only works within a few meters, although if one person using Con Negation is within range, they increase the range exponentially.
2) Adeat Negation: Stop your enemy from saying the word "adeat", but any other word can be said without issue. Sorry Jansen D, I just think this would counter a whole bunch of powers.
3) Murder's Curse: Raise all victims of someone, who will keep coming back from the dead as long as their murderer is still alive and they want to avenge themselves. You can reverse the effect, although if they kill more people, you will have to re-apply. Death does not deactivate this power. However, in some cases, the resurrected victims will fulfill their own desires.

What do you think?
Bow before your unimaginably powerful overlord!

Wait a minute, I'm currently too busy holding a cork in mid air for petty groveling.

I don't get Murder(er)'s Curse: They come back as long as their murderer lives, but death doesn't deactivate this power (or do you mean your own death?). Why must you re-apply if they kill more people (one activation per murderer, even if it's a Murderer's Curse Resurrected?). What are the cases when the resurrected victims will fulfill their own desires?
Isn't the point of this power to get revenge instead of a second lease on life?

I like it, it's just not entirely clear and I want to prevent rejection.
I forgive you for misunderstanding, especially when you put it like that. Here goes:

Hit the nail on the head. While the resurrected being can be killed, they will come back automatically. However, I'm not sure about your death not deactivating it; it might seem too powerful.

It brings the dead back to life, who usually would kill their murderer, thus returning to the afterlife (they know this will get them back) but some who fear death may start a new "life" as one of the undead, maybe even protecting/working with their murderer to keep themselves this way.

Thanks, I know it's just constructive criticism.

Re: Power Orphanage

Josh
I'm thinking about just a sort of "Mad Scientist" Power- basically if you need something done, you'll be struck with a thorough knowledge of the topic, the relevant engineering, and whatnot so you can build any sort of superadvanced technology you need.

I can't find anything on the list like it already, but it seems like there probably would be. Does anyone know of anything?

I'm thinking of a new series called Explosive: ?. It would enable you to blow up the object in the title. For instance:
-Explosive: Zombie: Blow up any zombie with a thought, with great range.
-Explosive: Construct: Blow up the construct of any power, with great range.

These are just two examples.

Re: Power Orphanage

Myself

Ok, fair enough.

It was more my friend's idea anyway (we're all ).

I've got some other weak powers (with a good purpose):
1) Seizure Negation: Blocks and ends seizures with a certain radius. This works for any kind. I thought of this because I have Epilepsy (but luckily, I've been seizure-free for over 2 years, so I can get a licence). When deactivating or suppressing a (would-be) seizure, you absorb electricity from the victim harmlessly, which you can then use for your own purposes.
2) Lactic Acid Absorbtion: Absorb lactic acid from yourself and those around you, assisting recovery from extended periods of anaerobic exercise. You can them fire this at people, which will seriously damage their body, or inject it with a touch, preventing physical exertion until recovery.
3) Cancer Absorbtion: Absorb cancer from a victim, granting you it's "powers" (cloning, regeneration, immortality, etc) for a short while, until your "supply" runs out, at which point you will have to remove more cancers from people.
4) Fever Absorbtion: Absorb the heat from a fever, able to use it to keep yourself warm, heat someone else, start fires, etc.

These might go under a "healer" series designed to benefit you when curing a disease. The best part? These powers would help people when you use them, as well as benefiting you. Sure, you wouldn't get much energy, but you'd be absorbing it passively and to the benefit of others.

Like it? I don't think it would be offensive, as it is a cure (benefiting both parties).
