Overview: The ability to link the sources of power for your powers.
Description: With this power, you can link power sources together. If you had a power charged by sunlight and one without a power source, you could make sunlight make that other power stronger too.

Pros:
-Boost your powers.
-Take full advantage of your situation.
-Benefits variety in power choices.

Cons:
-Can weaken other abilities too.
-Must have an ability with a factor as a source to boost another power.
-If one power is rendered nonfunctional, the link is broken.

What does everyone think? I'll likely be posting this soon.

Title: Beneficial Curse Trading
Overview: The ability to take unwanted traits of others for yourself.
Description: Every had a friend with a trait you'd kill for, but they only wanted to get rid of? With this power, you could take that trait for yourself and give your equivalent. The only requirement is that one must want it and one must want to get rid of it. However, if either regrets the decision, the trade reverses. For instance, if you had an underweight friend tired of eating a lot to maintain their weight, you could swap positions and enjoy their "dilemma". It even works with abnormal things like superpowers.

Pros:
-You'd be surprised what people don't like about themselves; you could fulfill your wildest dreams.
-If you can find people who hate their powers, you can gain more powers.
-You may be able to trade it again for something better.

Cons:
-You must find someone who not only has a trait you want, but hates it.
-If they regret the swap, it will be reversed; if the person who gave up flying misses the skies, you'll come plummeting to Earth.
-If the other party dies, the change becomes permanent.

I had an idea for a power but I'm not sure if its too similar to some already existing powers.


Confinement Antithesis/ Confinement Immunity/ Confinement Obliteration/ etc

The ability to act as the antithesis to confinement of any form. With a touch ropes will snap, chains will break, and any other physical restraint will break apart. In addition this applies to metaphysical or  even abstract confinement as well. Binding spells or astral restrictions faced by the user will simply dissipate or become intangible, allowing you to pass unharmed. Phrases such as "bound by fear" will become meaningless, any restrictive fear or other emotion will vanish or subside upon the acquisition of this power.

Pros: 1. You can bypass all forms of restraint, even if it isn't applied to you.
                     2. This applies to the metaphysical and spiritual realms as well, rendering you immune to magical restrictions.
                     3. Enemies will have to fight you with brute force or trickery.

Cons: 1. Requires touch until developed( Note, in cases where something may not be  "Touching" the user such as magical spells or astral restrictions the power will act as though there was tangible contact).
                       2. You could be "Imprisoned" in a vast empty space with nothing holding you back but your inability to propel yourself in any direction.
                       3. Power is involuntary until developed (NCN).

It needs to be refined a bit more.

 I agree...very nice.

 Oh, and Bug brought up the problem of some very powerful superhuman abilities that exist on the list.

The Superpower List and Every Power Not on the List.

These two, in combination, basically amount to Omnipotence. And I got a problem with that. Comin' up with a good superpower rebut to that combination shortly...

I may actually make a similar power.

Here is one:
Title: Power Incompatibility
Overview: The power to make an opponent's powers conflict.
Description: With this power, you can stop an opponent's powers from functioning with each other. To do this, the powers must be similar in some ways; superhuman speed and strength can be made incompatible, but invisibility and teleportation cannot. The effect wears off if you die, lose this power or the target moves out of the effective range (25 meters).

Pros:
-Stop grossly overpowered combinations.
-Can disable the most powerful superhumans.
-Bypasses most defenses.

Cons:
-Target may escape and regain full use of their powers.
-Some powers cannot be made incompatible.
-ALL targets within the area are affected.

What do you think? It was inspired by the fact that some Minecraft mods do not work with each other and was thought up on the spot (so feel free to provide constructive criticism).

I have two today.

Title: Selective Temptation Immunity
Overview: The ability to be immune to temptation in any form.
Description: With this ability, you have immunity to any temptation in any form unless you choose to succumb to it. These temptations may be superhuman, biological, power, money or otherwise.

Pros:
-You will not go mad with power.
-You are immune to unwanted seduction.
-You are harder to manipulate.

Cons:
-Does not help against most forms of mind control.
-You must consciously choose to succumb to something,
-If you are immune to the temptation of a bodily requirement, you will have to keep those needs fulfilled.

Title: Defense Action Detection.
Overview: The ability to sense when one of your defensive powers is active.
Description: With this ability, you will know when a power of yours is protecting you and how it is doing so, such as how you are injured while regenerating. It even works for non-defensive powers being used in a defensive manner, such as when a telekinesis-based forcefield is struck.

Pros:
-Sense when allies are being attacked when using Pack Invulnerability.
-Get detailed information about threats being stopped by your powers, including how effective they are at attempting to breach your defenses.
-Works for all powers used defensively.

Cons:
-Provides no defense itself.
-Useless without other powers.
-You need to learn how to use you new knowledge effectively.

 Didn't think of it that way. I was more thinking along the lines of a hyper-specialized power (as I normally create) in that I am not tempted to, say, perform acts that are against my faith. Thanks for pointing that out; it makes it all the better.
