And Jester is probably down there in the fifties..
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

With 52 members (I think), he'd have to be number...53?

Because I think Jester could use that postion as a foothold to subjugate a substantial portion of the geek-related websites on the internet.

Which is probably the second largest part of it..

Why not just make it so mods can't approve their own powers?
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Why can't you hush up?

I approve my own powers as well!

Hence, Jester REMAINS a low prospect for any serious authority position on the site.

So says I. Indeed.

I refuse to approve my own powers. It seems a bit self serving.

I still think its a good idea, I wouldn't approve my own powers

Then you have no stake in this...some of us simply can't have other people potentially see flaws in their work.

I prefer to go through it myself.

It's worked so far.

Gentleman Vaultboy
So now that we can edit powers, can I post a few I already have on the site here so that I can get some critique and feedback? You know, to see how they could be improved?

Post them in either the corrections or the Resubmissions thread

Re: Power Orphanage 2

Gentleman Vaultboy
Thank you.
Deathmatch Field
The ability to create a "arena" that only the last person standing can leave
The user of this power pictures a place in their mind and designates it as an "arena". That area is then enclosed by a bright red "boundary". Any person who enters or is caught within the "boundary" is trapped inside of it until they are the last living person in the "arena". Anyone who goes "out of bounds" before this dies of massive internal hemorrhaging. The only other way to deactivate this power is with your death.
The good:
Trap people inside the "arena".
Escape pursuers by traping them in an "arena".
Turn teams (heros and villains alike) against one another.
The bad:
You could trap youself in your own power if your not carefull.
You can only have one "arena" up at a time.
The "arena" doesn't force people to fight, mearly puts them in a situation where it is likely.

Portal Gun Vision
The ability to shoot portals through your eyes, like in the Portal series. 'Nuff said.

Pros:
-Send enemies flying into a wall.
-Useful for transportation or if lazy.
-Can be used for viewing areas too..

Cons:
-Must be able to see target.
-Projectiles and enemies can go through portals.
-Cannot create portals through other portals.

This does not need explaining.

Approve or no?

Slush Puppy Summon
The ability to summon anything with the official Slush Puppy logo on it.

From the creator of CrackTart comes Slush Puppy Summon. You can summon any item which has been officially sanctioned to bear the Slush Puppy logo of the hat and shirt-wearing cartoon dog holding one of his products. To summon one, you must shout "Slush Puppy summon! " The larger and more complex it is, the longer you must hold the final "o" sound in "summon. " Holding it for a minute can summon a company truck. Whatever you think is most likely to be in the summoned container is what it will be.

The good:
Have Slush Puppy products whenever you want.
There's no limit to how many you can summon.
Hold it long enough and you can bring factories, people wearing products, or even the Puppy himself.

The bad:
Can only summon Slush Puppy products.
It may be embaraassing to use this power, and it is impossible to do it quietly.
If you are psychotic or on drugs, you may summon undesirable or frightening things in the products.

Unlike Cracktart, it has some decent use, such as instant factories (which even I could use) and escape vehicles.
