Brilliance. I'd buy one, but my minions blew all my credits at a casino (without permission; they're having to get the money back +10% interest ). It would destroy the economy to create the credits from nothing and I do not feel like reality warping one in.

Those casinos in the Omega Nebula, or in the Andromeda Galaxy? Both are really famous.

There apparently used to be a good arcade centre on an asteroid orbiting the star Betelgeuse millions of years ago. They had to move for a number of reasons, but the first main one was to avoid being consumed by the the star as it turned into a red giant, and the second because the name of the star sounds like a messy fruit drink made of insects (Bee-tell-juice).


Anyway, be nice to them. Perhaps you should recommend to them that they go to a gambler rehabilitation centre. There's one in the Horsehead Nebula, only costing 20UC per person a Fagahadian month. They are minions, but research shows that minions are more likely to develop bad habits (smoking, alcoholism, gambling, and chewing with their mouth open) if their evil masters are abusive to them. I'm sure you're not abusive, or even evil, but just remember to be nice to them.

Nope. Neither did New Beginning happen.

They spent time at both, along with some lesser-known ones.

I might send them to the horsehead nebula clinic. Seems like a great deal.

The reason they gamble has nothing to do with me; I treat them well, but I acquired them by using Reaper's Contract* on dying individuals and Conditional Ability Bestowal* on those with aspirations. Many had preexisting gambling conditions.

Well, a world did die yesterday, on 21/12/12. (It's the 22nd where I am)

I was working in the lab on a micro-planet. This guy's order was a micro-planet where the world was overtaken by the Mayans and the Aztecs, and so their culture was the only one on the planet. I was just adding the ocean, when someone working on another project bumped me. I added too much water by mistake, and there were great floods. Luckily, I managed to get all the billions of tiny Mayans and Aztecs off and no one died. No one except a small, hairless dog, but that's okay, because they were about to eat it.


But seriously, a world did end today: The world where certain people fear the end of the world coming yesterday, has been ended by the end of the world not coming yesterday.


I just hope that sentence makes sense to more people than me.

Say, what do your workers actually do? Asteroid mining, world invading, species creating in the radiation lab of Sector 7, taste testing, tennis?

This plant grows under water, but very quickly. It only has one leaf,  but it's massive, and it sits on top of the water's surface to receive any sunlight it can get. They do various tasks, but they mainly run my colonies, bases and fleet of spacecraft. When they retire, they get to become settlers on one of the colonies if they so choose, establishing their population.

Oh, that is awesome! I assume you don't disrupt the natives, but peacefully co-exist with them.

So are you like the Emperor of an empire? What is your official title: Galactic Highness, President of Systems, or something?

Oh, no, I only place colonies on barren worlds or the planets of allies who agree to avoid political problems.

I am not actually fussy over my title most of the time. As a benovelent leader, I usually allow them to assign me a title to use, the exception being when I ask to be called certain things.

Speaking of my fleet, we offer military protection of any world upon request. Prices are lower if I am allowed to land the city-ships there. I already cover Celadon, as I have a personal base there (the Penultimate's attic).

It has been a long time since a coloniser has been benevolent, and not an evil overlord. It's good to see someone giving a good example to all those Evil Emperor jerks of the universe. TAKE THAT, DICTATORSHIP!


Just let the Planet Factory know if you're having any difficulty settling on those barren worlds unsuitable for life. We can make a habitable planet close by.

Shouldn't be an issue, since the colonies in such cases are often self-contained spacecraft simply mining their environment. Thanks for the offer/suggestion though.
