In Media Res during full collapse, during the worlds equivalent of the Great Panic from WWZ. Introduce the main characters, have them meet, give us a reason to care about them. Once the core group is established, timeskip forward 20 or so years to the main plot.

Posting from the mountains, on cousins phone. Grandparents own a cabin, visiting for Christmas. Back in a week.

 Very cool. Both the idea, and the location from which you posted it.

Though, it should be known, most of the characters are pretty young. I mean, 20's-40's. Maybe after the beginning narration, we can skip to a year later?

 Just so you know, when the story reboots, I'm gonna try to move through as many Overlords as you guys are committed to.

We can keep the story going and going, all around the world, as long as you guys see fit. Until enough of you say you're no longer interested or can no longer carry on for any other reason, we can keep on truckin', like New Beginning.

This is away from normal RP progression talk, and away from character creation or character development talk.

Whatever you plan, arsenal and army-wise, locations, will all go here.

And please make sure that you respond to the proper message line. Like, generally, you reply to the line of comments that says Re: Overlords/Warlords, but for armies (ie the Modai, Diata, Dark Sun, Skull Army, etc) reply to their respective lines of comments, please.

Overlord Death

An Overlord that rules a domain made up of parts of what used to be Road Island and Massachusetts, said to posses The Evil Eye. Anyone gazed upon by the Overlord, even in picture or video, becomes someone that reality considers an enemy and will attempt to destroy. In laymans terms, the chance of that person untimely death will rise to 100%. This Overlords domain rapidly expanded in the months after he came to power, with resisting enclaves of civilization being wiped out entirely in waves of cruel accidents. After several months of wiping out any who stood in opposition, the waves of death ceased entirely just as suddenly as they began. An official statement released by the Overlords generals states that the Overlord is satisfied with what he has and will no longer use his power upon those who do not encroach upon his territory. He has made good upon this threat several times.

There is no physical description of this Overlord on record. No one has ever looked upon him or heard his voice and gone on to tell about it. Indeed the likelihood of him even being in his reported home, a fortified mansion on the coast of road island, is impossible to confirm.

 He would be an excellent challenge for our old friend Byne Turner's group.
