Ah, forgot Aeon. I will put up similar defenses and evacuation procedures (the Earth are still able to hold many more and have self-replicating factories on board). The Earth should be safe as they feed on the radiation belts (which are refilled by the sun) and when (and if) that runs out, we can throw our radioactive waste at them, as by that time it should be affordable to do so.

My planet is in a personal realm with it's marker in a safe location (i.e. Celadon).

As long as Celadon is safe, we should have space for the Earth's population.

This is what I have been able to ascertain about the Gullets and Cosms:
1:Absorb matter and energy from a distance or contact.
2:Energy is consumed in a great quantity in short periods of time(speed and quantity determined by the size)
3:Size is an indicator of both how fast energy is consumed as well as how much is stored/has been eaten, I also believe that larger ones can absorb more at one time.
4:they absorb most any energy directed at them(save possibly life energy and magic and psionic energy)
5:They are both immutable and immune to magic(I assume it is not immunity as much as an absorbtion of it)
6:Consuming certain types of energies allows abilities pertaining to that energy as long as it is in their metabolism(this is a theory)

I have also planned out this to utilize and contain them:
1:Dimensions of pure energy can be used to sate them(though if number six above is correct then te energy type must be regulated)
2:Starvation dimensions(ones with no energy or ones that absorb it themselves) can be used for their long term containment or destruction)
3:They can be guided by a combination of spacial/hyperspacial and energy manipulation.This is done by keeping them great distances from energy or matter while giving them regulated energy amounts and types. If needed as weapons then minute amounts of said energy or matter can be directed to them.

The pros of their containment/utilization:
1:They can be kept away from major energy and matter sources to keep them dormant and harmless.
2:Their utilization makes them deadly weapons against enemies.

I have no clue how he could hope to communicate with a semi-sentient being that is not only unwilling to learn sentient language, but unwilling to communicate even in whatever communication means it knows, and driven right now mainly by hunger.

*Does what Zale recommends. The Larger of the Cosms heading toward Aeon sees the smaller one heading toward the energy ball. The larger one is slower moving, and so blasts the crap out of the smaller one. The smaller one gives off what feels like a monstrous roar but is really the production of immense amounts of energy. The smaller one blasts the big one back and now they have turned to fight one another. Due to their highly volatile gaseous forms, the energy attacks will either be absorbed, or pass through their bodies and hit other celestial bodies instead.*
