I have an army of golems made of my bombs. They are dangerous, so don't get them angry, or we are going to have to find a new planet.(p.s., they enjoy cheese, especially parmasian.

The nerdlings were practically climbing over each other in a feeble attempt to get away from the pseudo-zombie menace.

 Just as one of the Virals was about to grab one sobbing geek, all of them suddenly stopped cold. The shadows of the Virals had suddenly taken on substance and form, and they reached up to wrap themselves around the confused zombies. The mini-horde of nerds began to cheer at what seemed like something that would save them.... only to stop once their own shadows reached up after them.

 "IIII GOOOT YOUUUUU" A taunting voice called out. An animated shadow snaked through the air, to stop between the two groups. It took on color and definition to become a female dressed in black. Though her clothing was goth-like, her face showed an almost insane euphoria.  She shook her dark haired head happily and hefted a large scythe with a chained skull dangling from it. With extreme speed, she spun the scythe like some demonic helicopter and moved through a shadow on the ground, appearing right behind the head geek. With a laugh of glee, she aimed her scythe at his neck.


"Shadow. No killing, remember?" I said.

The scythe stopped a mere centimeter from the head geek's throat.  "Awwww...." Said Shadow, "I want to kill them.."  With a sigh of regret, she backed off and leaned on her scythe.

"Can I kill just one?" She said.

"No"

"PLEEEASSSSEE."

"No.."

"Can I maim one? Remove a limb? Disembowel one? Slice them in half?"

"No. No. Hell No. That would kill them, so no."

She pointed towards a buzzing fly. "Can I kill that?" Shadow said desperately.

I sighed and put my face in my hands. "Fine..."

"YAY!!!" She shouted happily. She span like a cyclone and leapt in the air, bringing her scythe right across the unfortunate fly. The two halves of the fly fell to the ground while the demented reaper did some kind of scythe twirling happy dance.

"...."

"How are is she part of me again?" I muttered.

I turned to the, now scared witless, nerds. "Listen to me, Ok?"

The white-as-a-sheet head nerd nodded frantically.

"You want to keep your powers, right?"  

More frantic nodding.

"And you don't want to end up dead or zombies, right?"

Terrified nodding.

"So, I'll put this in terms you will understand. From now on, all of you are neutral good. You'll stay that way and stop acting like petty brats." I announced as I leaned forward.

"Because if you don't act right, you will wish I had let you be zombies. We clear?"

The head nerd nearly lost his head nodding.

"Ok then." I said with a smile. "Let the nerds go Shadow."

" 'Kay, boss!"  

The nerd's shadow snapped back to normality. Suddenly without restraints, many of the nerds collapsed. The ones that could walk grabbed the ones who couldn't and took off as if being chased by an angry lich.

Now to put a watch up...  I snapped my fingers and a yellow spark leapt off my hand. The spark expanded and multiplied, transforming into several miniature winged humanoids.  The newly created fairies stared around curiously, dressed like bird watchers and carrying over-sized binoculars.

"Please watch the nerds and make sure to alert me if they - or anyone else - starts acting stupid."  

As one, they saluted merrily, and began to grow transparent as they zipped off to watch the geek horde.


I turned to the gigantic wulf.

"Shadowulf, I'm guessing?"

Why does no one get this? I put us all in space, THEN used the force field wrecking balls. I didn't harm Earth at all.
And I guess I'm okay with the "we don't attack you as long as you don't attack us" pact.

Don't worry, the innocents get total control over their transformations, if they do get infected. I can also cure it.

Guys, this has really changed since the beginning. At first we posted the time, how we discovered our powers, and other stuff like that. Now we are just posting.

I also found my own little cult of nerds, all of them doing real live D&D, and WoW. They had been doing it for a while, and they were currently turning the house into a fortress. Several of the people could be seen floating in mid-air, altering reality, using Rune Master, and stuff like that. I interrupted several of the "mages" while they were "casting a spell". They looked angry, and a couple of the shape shifters were already changing, getting ready to attack me.
