Thread for the Philote, Jester, Penultimate duke out and possibly future brawls so as to not interrupt the happenings in new beginning.

Lets start by listing as much relevant information about our characters as we can.

Philote is Aeon's strongest core user in history. His power has evolved from basic control, to a crystallized energy control, to complete control over things relating to the elements allowing him to infuse themes and designs into his powers which increases his powers beyond normal means. He has developed a series of overdrive techniques that he can call on at will. Complete with Elemental Gates.

 As a core user he has base powers that he has trained relentlessly such as space manipulation (can create matter, teleport, and rework the properties of things) and Time manipulation (He can time travel but the ability to slow or speed up time is what he uses most). He can also travel between dimensions and planes and create his own dimensions as he likes. He can also Philote hack the data of near anything unless there are defenses in place allowing him to control other people.

Lastly, he has died already (He went to this buffer zone which acted as a inter dimensional hub called Haven instead of dieing fully and going to Heaven.) so he is more of a spirit with the ability to create a body, so things like eating and sleeping aren't necessary and he can remake his body and heal until his core energy is depleted.

yes but we don't know of your full capabilities as penultimate....I suppose that it's alrigh then.....


not much for me to add in that case, complete control over the realms of time, space, spirit, and matter as well as various reality bending capabilities powerful enough to manipulate entire galaxies down to individual atoms at once. Has a few artifacts such as key and the book of the lamb. and a few other things I don't feel like mentioning at the moment.

Okay, I'll explain myself in a bit more detail.

And he has the power Singularity, which means others can tell when his foes try to impersonate him (they'll recognize that it's not him). Lastly, he has the power of Rightful Rule, which means that all neutrals on the planet Celadon recognize him as the ruler, and serve him (protecting, serving, fighting for, etc.)

And just for a refresher course, you should know some of the side info as well.

It belongs to the supreme ruler of all Celadon, who even the Kings and Queens of Celadon bow down to.

The bearer of this title is chosen by the Elementals (The Drym also called the Energy Elder who rules over energy, the Lava Lord Vulcan who rules over fire, Polaris the Glacier Guru who rules over water, Illyrion the Arbor Avatar who rules over earth, Gandrei the Wind Warden who rules over wind and Sciops the Storm Sage who rules over Electicity); each of these mighty elders chooses a candidate they think can rule well over Celadon as Penultimate.

The current Penultimate was chosen by the Drym. His rival, the B!?¢# (real name as yet unknown) was chosen by Sciops, whose judgment is a bit unstable himself...

Now, the next step of the Penultimate selection is that the competitors must complete four tasks: they would have to Capture the Four Winds, Tame the Elements, Withstand the Test of Time and Number the Stars...to do these amazingly difficult-sounding tasks, they were all temporarily bestowed with reality-bending capability. Whoever would win, kept their powers.

When they were told to begin their seemingly-impossible tasks, the current Penultimate brought to mind all of his previous adventures in Celadon, and realized that the tests were actually far easier than they seemed. Unfortunately, none of the other contestants had had such useful learning experiences, because they had qualities that kept them from learning anything from the harrowing journey it took to get to the starting place for the test. And with that, the current Penultimate accomplished the tasks before all the others, and was given his current title as Penultimate (and retaining his abilities, which he would use to patrol, police and protect all Celadon for the rest of his vastly-expanded lifespan).

HOWEVER, here's where things go awry. After their abilities were supposed to be stripped from them (and they were supposed to be sent back to their normal lives, which would include having to bow down to their former competitor), a very sneaky girl used her reality-bending powers to escape the notice of the Elementals, and retain her powers unfairly. And ever since then, the two have carried their rivalry across time, where she would occasionally pop up, and he would always be there to end her shenanigans...

So, yeah...
