The plant-person looks at both of you with obvious anger and makes several rude gestures before diving into a nearby tree and vanishing.

A distant sound of crashing trees and suddenly silenced animal cries begins to appear behind Wulf and Phi.

 I look back, and my eyes, my tail, my paws and my mouth go aflame; I increase my speed yet more, hoping to set everything in my path ablaze.

[Marvelous Miscreant]

I follow the stone path to where the hill blocks my view.

[Zaleramancer]

"You are aware that I can simply keep you here until you die of exposure, dehydration, starvation or old age?"

[Zaleramancer]

Trees burn and several panicking plant-people dart among the underbrush trying to put them out. A few of them catch alight themselves, and fall to the ground writhing.

Animals begin to shriek as they burn. The trees finally break to show a rapidly advancing being.

A huge and vast construct of dark stone, shaped like a feline. It roars again, running for Wulf.

[Zaleramancer]

Behind Marv, the door vanishes quietly.

The stone path curves gently between hills, eventually bridging over a river. Next to the bridge is a weeping willow hanging over the water. A old looking grandmotherly woman is arranging cups and plates of food on the table.

Whoopsies! Forgot about them.

I look back and send back psychic forcefields to cover the animals and plant people. The forcefields also put out any fires that have caught on to living things.

I continue bounding forward.

[Zaleramancer]

The stone feline ignores Phi and rushes for Wulf.

It appears to be gaining speed and size as it approaches.

"Er....Hello? Could you tell me where I am?" I call out the old women.

[Zaleramancer]

She smiled and waved him over, offering a free seat.

"A peaceful place for people to walk."

Hmm, I pick a random door.

(I thought you were with Wulf & Phi. )

"That may be so for Mayumi and Kyouko, but unlike them, I can die neither old age nor biohazards. Starvation and dehydration are also nonexistant for me and if I and they wish, I can store Mayumi and Kiki in stasis until we get out. It would appear that you and I are at a stalemate in the aspect of time."

"Oh, but you need to save Zale, do you not? If you fail to do so.. the Invader will simply spread into the multiverse, fueled by Zale's vast reservoir of stored power. With all of the most powerful beings in the universe here, there will be nothing to stop it."

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

"True, and that is why we ask to be allowed to go through to stop the being. And no, I am not willing to leave even a single one of my group behind, I have seen far too many sacrifices in my lifetime to wish for more."

[Zaleramancer]

"Why should I do you any favors? You've done nothing for me but tempt me with information withheld and attempt to burn the door of the room I reside in."

[Zaleramancer]

(Each place has rules. Figure out the rules, and this becomes supereasy. I'm presenting you with something that can't be solved with extreme use of power. )

"Hmmmm, so then what you want is information? If you want to know about Hôseki-Kizuato, you'd need Kiki's permission for that and her answer has already been given. However, if you wish to know about other races, then I can give you information on Grêlons, Karrenians, Rinshan Kaihou, and Haitei Raoyue. As for the door, we could not have possibly known that you resided within this room as we were given no indication that this was a room with an inhabitant beforehand. For all we knew it could have just lead into a room with spike pits in it, similar to a test from Zelda."

That creature had been trying to tell me something. I turn part of my consciousness towards the other plant-like creatures to observe them and send a second body after the feline, my labyrinth gear staying with my first body.

As my second body flies behind, trying to catch up, it sends its energy forward, trying to affect the gravity around the stone feline to lift it into the air.
