New Beginning 20: Nize Hats for everyone.

The Gladiator moves his gladii in front of the tail to stop it from hitting them too hard. The angels move at the Priest's command out of the way of the fire and charge at Id to cut off his heads. The Mage casts spells to further amplify her defensive power beyond what her tattoos normally do and charges at Id with a pair of swords conjured from wind at her side.

Justin holds up his katana and the dragonscales that form the hiltguard fan out and absorb the bolt of energy. Simultaneously, he forms a shield of mana behind him to ward off attacks from behind.

(Atsuko and Matron's fight?)

(Their fight isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Atsuko is nigh-invulnerable barring one weakness. Until Matron finds it, nothing will change.)

Id's heads hiss as the daggers slow the tail, and are then silenced when two of them are cut off.

Ego rolls his eyes and yells to them. "Y'know what happens when you cut off a hydra's head?"

Id's neckstumps begin to ripple, and two new heads emerge. Now with five heads, Id attacks again. He sprays fire, acid and other elemental attacks towards people.

Ego bashes through the mana shield with contemptuous ease, while Superego begins to glow and smashes at Justin's face.

(You know, the fact that none of my attacks ever do anything to you is quite irritating. Of course, I expect you to loose now. Those three are very powerful.)

(Got it. Hmm, Achilles just popped into mind)

The Priest continues with reciting part of Revelation, then coughs as the last of his mana is drained by keeping the angels there and they disappear as he collapses. The Gladiator and the Mage look at each other and move out of the way of the attacks from Id's heads, trying to figure out a way to stop him from regrowing heads that they take off.

Justin moves away from the attack and cries out, "Release, Fang of Psionium." The daggers floating around multiply until there are 100 of them and start to move to engage Ego and Superego.

(Your attacks do nothing? Um, let's see Andrea's unconscious, Glutton's knocked out, and Tutu fainted froom broken ribs and possibly worse internal injuries. Does that sound like nothing? The Priest is out of mana as well. And Justin is quite powerful in his own right though he isn't the strongest. I would like to at least have him use his Ultimate Form, by the way. Though, it does look like I'm going to have to have Matsuri come in AND Miki AND Mayumi)

[Celadon's Penultimate]

(*sigh* It's Revelation. Singular. )

Id focused the breath attacks from his heads on the nearest foe.

As the daggers began to fly, Superego stopped and crossed her arms. Vines emerge from the ground, and begin to block and knock away the flying daggers. Superego glares at Justin, apparently considering her next move.

Ego, on the other hand, dodges and dances, parrying and deflecting them. He manages to collect several nicks and cuts from them, but over all seems fine.

[Zaleramancer]

Raven hovers, wondering what insane plan is happening.

Coyote cracks open an eye to look at the bright lights, then waves a paw. A paling began to emerge between Celadon and the suns, blocking of the annoying light. Happy now, Coyote closes his eyes and sleeps.

Spider drifts down, heading for the world's core.

[Celadon's Penultimate]

Internal Schmott-Guy Conscience (to the Penultimate): You have been attacking zem vith ze energy attacks for ze long time, now. Perhapz a different approach iz in ordah...

Internal Dummkopf Guy Conscience (to the Penultimate): Uh, yeah. That thar thinky feller is right. Maybe somethin' else is better to do.

Matron continues parrying and blocking with her sword of flames, and decides to try something else out. Matron slashes with her ice sword at Atsuko's ankle. The lanterns keep absorbing heat in the area that the two fight in.

Id's attacks go towards the Gladiator as he runs trying to keep Id occupied. Meanwhile, the Mage runs to the top of the closest hill to send out another call for aid.

Justin looks at Ego, slightly confused. *The hallucinogen effect must not work on them,* he thought, *which means that they're probably stronger than I thought. Oh, well.* Justin stabs in Ego's direction letting the Fang of Psionium's blade extend outwards to impale Ego on it, if possible.

Matsuri is sitting at a cafe with Miki and Mayumi in France when they fel the first wave of energy pass by them. Matsuri signals to the waiter and says, "Combien coute?"

Waiter: "Ah, cinqante euros mademoiselle."

Matsuri: "Ici. L'addition est compris?"

Waitor: "Oui, mademoiselle. Merci, nous apprécions votre affaire."

Matsuri: "Au revoir, monsieur. Miki, Mayumi, you sensed it?"

Miki & Mayumi: "Yup." "Yes."

Matsuri: "Alright then, let's get going."

The three grab hands then disappear as Matsuri uses her Zettai Karen Children theme to teleport.

"Biome" creates a large blue sphere before her, an arctic biome, to cool down and catch the plasma, but even so, the force of the plasma pushes her to the end of the Labyrinth's hall as she holds it back.

The deer skull begins to mutate and rapidly expands, bending the Labyrinth's halls out around it. The beam presses even harder against the mirror wall, as it begins to chaotically pour out, before I have to cut the overdrive off to keep the Labyrinth virus from running out of control.

Morph stares into the red eyes for a moment then launches his right arm out. The metallic arm twists in space and stretches out into three whip-like energized fists.

(Interesting, however, the myth Atsuko is based on is not Greek. It's derived from a certain kind of Japanese mythical being. You just have to guess which one!  Hint:She was normal for a hundred years, then changed. Doesn't have a tail.)

Atsuko trips slightly, but manages to turn the fumble into a strike.

A flicker of red light flashed over Id, Ego and Superego.

Ego, briefly distracted, was slightly slow to dodge the incoming blade. It manged to scrape his arm.  

"No.." Superego said in a slightly broken sounding voice. "It's winning. I guess we have no choice but to stop holding back."

Id roared again. A sudden surge of power left him, causing the very space around him to almost boil. Radiation and heat plumed outwards.

Ego's wound healed in an instant, and he moved so quickly he was a blur, striking at multiple opponents at once.

Superego sighed regretfully, and called to cells of her foe's body, telling them to shut down.

[Zaleramancer]

The flicker of red energy splashed across the scene, bathing all three of the invaders in it's light.

Coyote woke, he eyed the flash angrily, and howled as he rose. The containment exploded, raining debris. He began to run towards the Wulf, paws landing on air, a corona of flashing lights behind him. With he step, he grew more massive, the lights brighter.

Raven seemed to shrink at first, pausing and flitting around. Then, with a regretful caw, his form expanded explosively, darkness rushing in every direction. Within seconds, a layer of black darkness had surrounding Celadon, blocking it off from the light of the sun. Glass eyed people, animals and creatures emerged in the utter blackness.. they charged in hordes.

Deep below, Spider approached the molten core of the planet. He paused and halted as he moved forward, moving as if something were compulsing him to do so.
