New Beginning 20: Nize Hats for everyone.

[Zaleramancer]

Coyote, for whatever reason, finds this to be hilarious. He begins to chuckle silently.

Raven, meanwhile, continues to fly away from the fight. Towards this Wulf's den.

Below, Spider burrows through the earth, deliberately creating earthquakes and chasms. He follows Raven.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Matron's lantern absorbs the heat from the fireball leaving the lantern mostly unharmed, a little charred, and the other lanterns continue to absorb the heat from the area that Matron and Atsuko fight in.

The Mage grins, her previous opponent hadn't thrown as many spells at her but this one was more fun. The Mage counters by firing off her blasts of power at Lucasta. The priest recites another verse from Revelations, this time forming the angels of the seven churches: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea. The seven fly up to attack Gethin as the priest groans, he'd be praying for hours because of this battle.

Gladiator concentrates, then all but 2 of his gladii fly at Abby to strike a hard as they can.

Tutu continues to hold her forcefield, but it can be seen that she's tiring of the effort, her face getting paler with each attack that hits the field. The man walks forward and says to Id, "I don't know about you, but I'd say that you're a wild card. Th'name's Justin Porter, by the way. Roar, Fang." 10 daggers form around Justin as the katana in his hand takes on a slightly jagged edge and all of the daggers fly at Id.

[Celadon's Penultimate]

 "You find me funny, huh?" The Penultimate frowns, insulted, "Well, find this funny!" With that, he converts subatomic particles in the air into miniature pocket dimensions, each with the equivalent gravitational pull of a proportionate black hole. It is formed in a sphere around Coyote, and hopefully it will immobilize him, while the Penultimate pursues the other two villains.

The Penultimate's body ripples with an aura of quantum-mechanical disruption as he takes off after Raven.

[Zaleramancer]

After glancing at the containment, Coyote decided now was an excellent time for a nap. He curled up and started snoring like thunderclaps.

Raven stopped flapping, halting all movement. He dropped like a stone, hoping the Penultimate would have more trouble slowing his momentum.

Spider didn't slow, continuing to spread destruction as he advanced.

[Celadon's Penultimate]

At a moment's notice, the Penultimate generated a localized gravity field on himself to freefall through space after Raven. And as he fell, a replicate popped out of his body; it would pursue Spider through the ground in an attempt to neutralize whatever tremors he started.

[Zaleramancer]

Atsuko takes advantage of the brief burst of heat to strike at Matron.

Lucasta's light settles into a corona of brightness around her. It dims as it absorbs blasts.

"Switch"

As soon as their places change, Gethin grows more scaly. He dives from the sky for the Mage.

Lucasta swings her sword at the nearest angel.

Abby, now appearing to be in her mid-forties, snatches the gladii out of mid-air. She throws them back at her foes.

The daggers bounce off Id's scales. He laughs.

Then his laugh is cut off by a ringing voice.

"Id. The Houses did not authorize a reversion to your old form." A dark-skinned woman in robes and sandals had appeared, holding up Ego.

"I.. needed the power." One of Id's heads said as it turned to face her. "I'm just following orders."

"You're beginning to revert mentally. Becoming more wild, violent and bold. Be warned, if you can not restrain yourself, then I will." Her voice became hard and heavy with threat. "Ceases leeching off of Ego."

Id's heads hissed, and he shrank slightly. Ego gasped and managed to stand upright.

[Zaleramancer]

Raven's feathers scattered, each becoming a vicious black mamba. They fell upwards, angling for the Penultimate.

Spider had also changed, becoming a mountainous arachnid. Stone spiders swam through the earth and stone like birds through air, all converging on the replicate.

[Celadon's Penultimate]

The Penultimate turns into a gigantic thunderbird and strikes each black mamba with deadly precision.

Likewise, the Penultimate's replicate turns into a stone lizard, hungrily awaiting stone spiders for num nums...

[Zaleramancer]

(The feathers turned into black mambas. )

[Celadon's Penultimate]

 What? I know that. Who says I didn't know that?

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Matron blocks the strike from Atsuko and continues with having her lanterns absorb heat from the area she and Atsuko are fighting in.

The Mage forms a barrier and several roses before having the roses fly at Gethin. The angel moves away from the sword slash and all 7 of them move into a circle to attack Abby, forming spheres of light to fire at her.

The second that Abby attempts to hold onto the gladii, they disappear before reappearing around the Gladiator. He runs at Aby to engage her in hand-to-hand combat. (The gladii are a part of his Soulsword. I know I mentioned that earlier.)

Justin notices the woman appear and asks, "So, if the snake is called 'Id' and the guy is called 'Ego,' then I presume that you're called 'Superego?'"

[Zaleramancer]

Atsuko begins to move with supernatural speed, trying to warm herself. She strikes again.

The roses assault Gethin, sending him falling towards Lucasta.

She grabs him, and begins to mutter healing words.

"I didn't even get t-"

Abby vanishes as the lights converge on her, like Jones and Robbie.

"Correct."

"Id of the Lower Mind, Ego of the Middle Mind and Superego of the Upper Mind. Three of the Nine."

A shining sword appeared in the woman's hand. She holds it out to Ego, who takes it.

Id continues to shrink, loosing a head or two.

Ego speaks.

"Shall we fight?"

[Zaleramancer]

The snakes split into ever smaller, and more poisonous, copies of themselves.

Spiders fall swiftly to the lizard, though more and more appear.

[Celadon's Penultimate]

The Thunderbird turns into sheer lightning, and darts out to electrocute every venomous snake.

The Lizard opens its jaws, which now serve as a convenient portal to the core of the Sun.

[Zaleramancer]

Spider opens up a tunnel around the Lizard, guiding the superheated plasma upwards, out of the earth and into the air.

Ignoring the exploding snakes, Raven, wings flapping furiously, circles the spout of hellish fire. He reinforces the heat and guides it further- Into the upper atmosphere.

A sudden gale of volatile gasses hits the plasma.. and the atmosphere of Celadon catches the flame.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Matron blocks the strike. Considering what her opponent was doing to stay warm, she was glad that part of her Soulsword's effect was to keep her warm when it became too cold and cool when it became too hot.

With Abby gone, the Gladiator rushes over to aid the Mage and the Priest. Meanwhile, the angels fly over to surround Lucasta and Gethin to do the same thing as they did to Abby and the Mage starts firing volleys of mana blasts aimed to hit Lucasta and Gethin, but not the angels.

Justin yawns, "I don't see why not. I was about to fall asleep out of boredom before I came outside. En Garde!" Justin moves forward to fight Ego, Superego, and Id.

[Zaleramancer]

Atsuko's sword glows red as she strikes many times.

Lucasta glances around desperatly, then throws her sword at the Priest. It flies end over end towards him.

Gethin, still laying weakly, manages to draw a cloak of darkness around the two.

Superego steps forward and grabs Justin's blade. Power glows in her eyes.

"You can not hope to win when you are out numbered."

Ego looks at Id, who turns to charge to Gethin and Lucasta's aid.

Meanwhile, Ego takes up position to the left of Superego.

[Celadon's Penultimate]

Realizing the danger Celadon's inhabitants are now in, the Penultimate immediately petrifies the Celadonians as indestructible jaxadine crystal versions of themselves.

And now that that's been done, time to make use of the planet's power.

The Penultimate flies down to the Atmosphere, still aflame, and converts the fire into nuclear power, before spinning the now-nuclear-powered, to make it gravitate with the power of the sun. Likewise, it will put off the same heat.

Now, the two suns are beginning to gravitate toward one another.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Matron blocks the strikes with the sword of flames she'd formed earlier and keeps the sword of ice ready for blocking other strikes. The lanterns keep absorbing heat in the area that the two fight.

The Gladiator's gladii block the sword thrown by Lucasta and the angels continue with their attack as does the Mage. The Gladiator steps near the Priest and takes up a defensive position against enemies.

Justin grins, "Now who says I can't take on multiple enemies. I an do just fine." From behind Ego and Superego, the 10 daggers that had bounced off of Id's scales earlier float up and fly towards Ego and Superego to stab them. As that happens, the katana's blade become jagged and Justin yanks back on it to get it out of Superego's grip.

[Zaleramancer]

Id changed as he advanced, becoming more sleek and lithe.

"Leave." He says softly to Lucasta and Gethin. Both of them vanish.

"Now. Time to die." His tail scythes for the Priest and the Gladiator, while two heads spray fire towards the Angels. The final head grows longer and darts for the Mage.

Superego dashes the flying daggers aside with her bare hands and sends a bolt of green energy towards Justin. Meanwhile, Ego moves behind him to flank.
