With the passing of the monstrosity, things quieted down in the multi-verse.
Days passed..
Then, something Interesting happened.
Glowing orbs of light sparked into life in the void of space. They darted and danced across the void, eventually clustering around centers of life and power.. Especially that of the Reality Warping heroes.
And then the Orbs became Gates...
From which beings emerged.

In space, looking over Celadon.
=======================A trio of people floated in the void. They wore human forms and human faces, each resembling the other despite their differences.
The first, a young man in black with vaguely native american features, spoke.
"I.. Am.. Starving." He said, "Are we even in the right place?"
One of the others, an albino man with dark eyes, waved his hand in front of him. Sparking shapes and glowing lines appeared. He shifted and reorganized this, before looking up at the young man in black.
"Yes. It appears to be the correct location for our task."
The third of their number, a tall and thin man with an entertained air, sniffed the void and then nodded in conformation of the pale man.
The first spoke again, "Well, let's get this over with fast. I want a snack."
As one, the trio descended towards the atmosphere of Celadon.

Near Cykosha.
============
Another pair of beings appeared in the near-space.
The first was a tall cloaked figure, from which a strange crackling sound emerged in the dead of space.
The only other, a woman dressed in expensive business clothing and carrying a unsheathed white sword nodded to it.
"Shall we begin?" She said in a musical voice.
Waves of white noise and crackling static were the figure's only response.
Together, they too descended towards Cykosha.

At the center of the Multiverse.
======================
Four figures materialized.
One was massive, a clear humanoid being through which a distorted and chaotic reflection of reality could be seen. Ripples of chaotic energy washed from it at random intervals, changing the surroundings as it did.
The second at least appeared human, an old and withered man in tattered robes and a conical hat. Symbols danced across his wrinkled skin and the man mumbled aimlessly while staring off into space.
A childlike voice spoke, emanating from the third being, who looked like a winged child.
"Stop hiding. We know you're there."
As if a switch had been flipped, the last being appeared. An androgynous young man with long hair. A snake draped itself over his shoulders and he carried a shining sword.
Once again, a voice emanated from the winged child.
"He should be here. Be ready, he is extremely dangerous."

Earth, near the Minerva Academy.
===========================
A multitude was slowly assembling.
The first arrivals, a sword-carrying woman dressed in a kimono and a male teenager with an odd number of bracelets had found a table and begun a chess game.
Tardy arrivals trickled in.
A young woman and man appeared, one dressed in white and the other in black. The young girl smiled at the kimono-wearing woman before leading her companion over to them.
Behind them was a ageless looking woman with silver hair, who appeared to be observing flashing patterns in a mirror.
An elderly black woman with a cane wandered in after the silver-haired woman, making a bee-line for the tea table.
The final arrival, a young and enthusiastic looking man in a rainbow-colored cloak, waved as he entered.
As soon as everyone got done glancing and talking, the woman in the kimono rose to speak.
"I am glad that everyone has arrived. At the time of my arrival, I began to worry that some form of interception had occurred. I should be glad it was merely a case of.. tardiness." Several of the others blanched or began to glance around in embarrassment.
"No matter. We shall act now."
She drew her sword and began to lead the others toward the Academy.

Near Aeon.
=========
Six people appeared.
The first coming was the strangest, a tall and winged person that looked like something made from gossamer and stellar nebula, it hovered silently.
Next came an arguing pair, a middle-aged and hunchbacked man and a small talking black cat. They were holding a debate in some strange language.
Third came two more, a young woman dressed in hooded grey robes and holding a staff wrapped in beads. Tailing after was a quiet little girl dressed in white. Small bangle-like bracelets rang as she walked, three on her left arm and two on the right.
Finishing up the group was a man dressed like a Mayan priest. He moved -
danced- in an oddly jerking fashion, as if moving in swift spurts interspersed by immobility.
As the hunchback and the cat finished arguing, the hooded woman in grey addressed everyone.
"It is time. We shall begin."
They advanced on Aeon.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”
