@Marv: I say we could start it tomorrow. Only you and Wulf volunteered, and Wulf volunteered first. So, unless someone has a better way to pick or he doesn't get on, Wulf can start the next one.
Until then, we could deal with Myself's creature.

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

I answer Myself's distress call, and taking advice from what he has told me so far, I prepare to face this creature without my powers. I land at the creature's last known location. Human bodies litter the street, while other humans seem to have been left untouched. The bodies must have been other supers that the creature hunted down.
I did not have to wait long to face the creature, it seemed drawn to my presence, and the screams of those still living alerted me to its arrival. The creature looked like an nonthreatening human, most likely how it lured Myself in, but luckily I was aware of its tricks. Even without using any powers, I easily outmatch any human in strength or speed due to my race and effects of having a Core over a long period. The creature charges at me, seemingly insane, and I lay a series of blows into the creature's body. The creature is not completely invulnerable, but it does not seem like my strikes are hurting it seriously either. This continues for a period of time until I slip up. The creature gets lucky and closes in to strike me, and I release an energy beam out of reflex. This starts a chain reaction that drains my energy into the creature until I'm able to teleport a block away. I decide to take a different approach. My eyes glow as rings form on my irises. With one hand, I teleport the immediate population to a shelter on Aeon. With the other, I activate the planet's nuclear and missile weaponry. The non-superpowered assault explodes violently on the creature's current location, decimating the landscape that I would have to fix later.

After the assault, the creature is mysteriously gone. All my scanning is futile, it is gone without a trace. Sighing, I set to work repairing the damage.
(Maybe we can bring the creature back up again later, for now we can do next round of game)

Interesting...it was a cloud of formless energy/gas when I met it. I'm not sure how successful the nukes shall be though, since it's like trying to kill electricity with lightening. Can't hurt too much though, since it's diet is based on superpowered energy. I've taken you're tactic, since the energy will at least stop it attacking anyone else, buying us time. I've got modules installed on the Promiscuous, my city-ship, currently in orbit around Earth. These are experimental, but should be able to hold at least part of it for at least a few hours while we figure out a more permanent solution. I have ideas of dumping them at the end of time -the heat death of the universe, where there will not be enough energy for it to feed upon. However, it has the following problems, among others: 1) Wormholes are common at that time, due to how long the era exists. This means it could escape to other times (possibly preventing the human race from ever evolving, which is bad even for those who would still exist) or dimensions (we don't want it to attack another dimension which lacks any defense against it). 2) If the modules do not hold for the journey (a very possible outcome), the craft transporting it will be consumed. 3) If we do manage to get the beast in, we will be left with the part which did not get captured. This may lead to it's reproduction if the plan fails. 4) Getting the modules to the beast may be a problem, as none of us, let alone a normal human/superhuman, could do it ourselves safely. However, I am making a missile form of these modules to fire from orbit. 5) I am currently assuming this in the only one; what if it's only part of a massive race out there? What if they avenge their lost kin? We'd be doomed! Right now, my fleet if simply firing beams of pure (artificial) superhuman energy at the beast's location. It may not be harming it, but at least it's keeping it satisfied, so it won't go on any rampages. I've essentially recovered completely, so I'm back in action. I'm still leagues ahead of my nearest competitor, now aren't I?

Go ahead. Just make sure you don't exceed of light, else E=mc2 will turn it into energy and feed it MASSIVE amounts of energy, making it grow even larger.

We've moved it into intergalactic space, where it can feed while we think of a solution.
If you want to watch, it's between the Milky Way and Andromeda. The Promiscuous has a teleporter on board, so you can use the network you get there, at least with smaller spacecraft. One of my scientists on board figured it out; surround it with an energy field, put it inside a hold in my city-ship, then use the hyperdrive to get to our selected location. Once there, we got it out, since it got cramped and angry in there, plus we're worried about a systems failure where the field fails and it feeds upon the city-ship. A second city-ship has arrived, the one built in memory of the missing Jester, named the Cardstack. It's new and will support the beam, since intergalactic space lacks ambient energy. My other spacecraft will take days, weeks or even months in some cases to arrive and only be able to stay for short periods, so backup craft would be greatly appreciated. I cannot simply assign more from other areas, since each one must have a unique owner who it's bonded to and I trust few with such a responsibility, the few including you guys (and girls) and my top general (who must still have precautions loaded on him like turkey at a thanksgiving dinner). Another is being built for a man who lost his family to this beast (full of hatred = trustworthy) and his city's survivors are to run it. Unfortunately, it'll take a while for it to be completed, but I can't tell when. By the way, I hope you enjoyed the ones you received for Christmas. P.S. This was a way to keep it out of our heads but still alive. It's very easy for this to slip up, now isn't it?

I just got a good idea for when I play the evil person thanks to Zale. It involves three of the most powerful Soulswords: Sword of Infinite Souls, Maiden of Countless Souls, and Honor of Pure Souls.
