<<Yes, I shall be fine.>> Alex nods, <<If the legends of the Fext have any truth to them, I don't even need to eat or drink anything, really. Though, I must admit, part of me already misses the necessity of eating, and part of me just plain wants to find out what the food is like in this territory. Until we find a temporary place to settle, what say we give our infiltrating clothes a test run, and head out for something to eat?>>

"Yes, I'll have to eat at some point" Hypatos says while staring towards Alex's eyes to cause him some discomfort from the magical gaze.

Hypatos snickers and looks away. "Alright I'll let up for now." It was good to know that even if most mythos were immune to the petrification of his gaze, they could still be affected by it.

As the group travels farther into the city, the crowd around them thickens until Hypatos as to stare towards the ground to prevent petrification.

The living statue strides next to Hypatos and he holds on to the creatures arm to guide it. "Somebody take the big man's other side, I don't want him getting distracted and moving off." Another man bumps past Hypatos as he speaks.

Re: Monsters On The Run

"I got him." Said Ammon, slowing his stroll and letting Rei and Alex take the lead.

It was funny, looking at them. People of all kind and all manner of dress crossed their paths. Occasionally Rei or Alex would turn a head, but on a whole they were just faces in a crowd. He would need to get some shoes though. Seems everyone wore shoes now.

They walked and walked, and as they did the crowed got thinner and the building grew more dilapidated. Ammon could feel people watching as they went past. Truly looking, not just casual glances. Ammon reflexively felt his face, and found he had aged 30 years. If they kept getting watched like this, it could be bad. That's when he saw it.

An abandoned place by the look of it, windows boarded up and doors closed tight with chain. But the sign above the door caught his interest. It was almost calling to him, as if the gods had drawn him specifically to this spot. He broke away from the group to get a better look.

Now playing: Curse of the Mummy.

He called back. "Hey, how about here?"

(Abandoned movie theater cliche? )

"Its dark" Hypatos comments. He liked the dark, dark meant safety. "And it seems more worn down than nearby buildings, so I expect we will be relatively isolated within. We passed quite a few humans getting here though, so that is something to keep in mind."

Ammon's aging was becoming more obvious now. "Ammon, go in first and scope the place out for us. Make sure it is safe. The rest of us will keep lookout and find a way for the big guy to get in without breaking down those boarded up doors."

"When we are settled in we can move out for provisions."

"Right, I''l be back" He said, disappearing around the back of the building. It didn't take long before a trio of Hobos streamed around the corner screaming their lungs out about the mummies curse all the way down the street. Ammon appears from the other ally.

"Hey, I found a back way in. It's a bit of a fixer upper, and I have no idea what it was used for. You've got to see this room with all the chairs! They all have cushions." He then disappeared back into the alley.

Big Guy followed. He approached one of the many seat and prodded it with his finger, delighting in the creaking sound it made. He attempted to sit down in one. The chair creaked loudly and snapped under his weight, sending him spawrling to the ground with an enormous thud that shook the floor.

(Are we going to just keep calling Marv "Big Guy" or call him "Emet" like Wulf suggested?)

Hypatos moves away from the group for a moment, exploring the other rooms of the building and peering out into the street occasionally.

(How big of a theater do we want this to be? More than one floor? Numerous theaters or one?)

(Not Emet, that's the wrong Golem myth. I'm fine with Big Guy for now.)

Big Guy struggles back to his feet and sits on two chairs this time. They groan under his weight but hold. Big Guy claps happily to himself.

(I'm thinking typical theater, about 8 separate theaters, forum area in the front, second story for projection rooms, all of course torn up, dirty, and showing all the signs of homeless occupation.)

Ammon had come into this room expecting something grander.

This was not, as the sigh advertised, a bathroom. He had heard about bath rooms. They looked nothing like this. They also smelled nothing like this. In fact, the smell alone told him exactly what this place was used for. One look in the stalls confirmed this.

He wandered over to the nobbed basin and turned one of the nobs in curiosity. His eyebrows raised.

Moments later, he rejoined the group with skin as smooth as a babys bottom and an exited look in his eyes. "Water on demand! I know I said I wasn't sure, but my Romans idea still makes the most sense."
