Gonna run a Tekkit Minecraft Server over Hamachi soon if anyone's interested.

Seems interesting. Once I get my Minecraft running again, I might be able to join it. It'll be my first experience using mods and may help me to balance my ideas for my own mods.

I know, but after what I'll have to do to get Minecraft up and running I'll likely be able to convince my parents to let me make use of Hamachi.

On an related note, do you know how the company who make Hamachi make their money off the program? My dad is suspicious of free programs.

There are two versions. The free version has a lot of limitations, paid version has less limitation. They also make tons of other programs.

LogMeIn is a big name in computer access, I'm surprised you've never heard of them.

Btw, do you plan on creating the imagery for your mods yourself? Like the actual images of the items for in-game.

I have a friend who has offered his experience as a texture artist. I am terrible at such things.

Oh, I was hoping I may assist in some way, but your friend is most likely much better for the job. Can;t wait to see it finished.

One idea I've been tossing around is to make a bone block to help me learn to deal with crafting recipes. 9 bones would equal 1 block and vice versa. It would have the same texture as quartz does now, so it could function as either a storage or aesthetic block.

I might be getting multiple texture artists anyway, so I may be able to use your services.

I just realised that I will need your assistance; ever since 1.3, all mods for Minecraft must support multiplayer. With that in mind, I might as well make it playable on a server, so I'll need a testing ground for it, such as the SPL server.

It is at your disposal. All ya gotta do is let me know a head of time when you want to use it and I'll start it up.

Or If I'm unavailable. I think Zale knows how to run servers as well.

Still foggy on how to connect it to people, but I can make it live.

I probably won't get in on the minecraft server for now. My enthusiam for it has dropped and I haven't really seen anything to make me want to jump back on it.

I've still been playing league though (What thread was it that we talked about that in?) but I've never seen anyone on to message about a game for it.

I played tekkit for awhile, mostly messed around with the alchemy stuff. Once I got enough stuff going to get infinite resources my attention span for it lessened. Me and my friend who had the server ending up just deciding to blow everything up one day and we haven't been on since. This was quite a while ago.
