I can set up a server but I am still working on a way to have it accesable by people in different parts of the world. So far I can only make it LAN accessable.

LAN = Local Area Network

Basically it means only people on the same Network can access it. (i.e. Everyone in a certain building that is connected to the network there)

Well, I knew what LAN was, I just was wondering if it meant that we could ALL access it, but I keep forgetting, Minecraft is probably only accessible by people who actually BOUGHT the game...

Well, thats not entirely true......I happen to know a friend who has a program that let's you run minecraft without paying for it.....but you can only play on other servers with it.

So, it wouldn't work on your computers, or it wouldn't work on the server you originally used it on?

huh? I'm not sure I understand your question. The program works on any computer (with the right specifications to run it) and on any server. It just only works on servers, you can't play the full version of the game.

There aren't bugs so much as just no program to create a link to other computers for a server.

Alright guys, I got up off my lazy ass mand starting building up a Minecraft Server for us. But first I need somone to help me test it to see if all the setting sare straight so everyone can connect to it
