Good Omens (Written by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett), Small Gods (Terry Pratchett) and The Lost Continent (Terry Pratchett)
The first shows nice parts from both authors. What happens when Armageddon approaches and an angel and a demon decide they don't quite want the world to be smashed to pieces?
I liked it. I only noticed a few plot twists a bit of ahead of them being introduced, in good Gaiman style..
The second is about what happens, in a world where Gods Need Prayer Badly, when people starting believing so much in the organization and hierarchy of an organized religion that they stop believing in the god..
He ends up a turtle.
The third I've yet to read. Time to start.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”
