No.  I would say that you don't.   People in power have to make decisions for the whole, rather than solely for the individual.

The hardest part, I think, to keeping a benevolent yet potent empire would  be to select leaders of good character to govern their spheres of jurisdiction justly.

So hard, in fact, I don't know that its ever been done for a sustained period in world history.  There were a lot of good starts, but eventually it fell to the baser instincts of humanity.

Bottom line, I think no one would accuse you of any subconscious evil overlord-ish tendencies

So I've been running this activity in my journal on my DeviantART page. It's a little collaborative session to create a random character. Anyone can comment and add a single trait to the character of their own choosing. When this ends I'm going to draw the character based on everyone's input.

If anyone wants to pop over and add a trait I'd appreciate it, I think Phi already has. The journal for it is over here

So, I've been reduced to using my desktop.

After I de-virused it.

I don't know what my brother's been doing with it. It was chock full of viruses, the anti-virus hadn't been updated in 140 days, and a quantitative shit ton of lost data.

Well, my laptop only works when plugged in now.

But as soon as I get a new battery and possible have it looked at while I'm bothering, I should manage to go at least a week without suffering total computer failure.

Scratch that, now the battery works.
