@WHD: See, that's the problem I'm having with balancing. Since I know the game, I'm trying to keep it from being too easy since I can get a perfect score in it just by anticipating where the next tokens will appear. I suppose its just supposed to be a prototype of a concept for a later more balanced game. What sort of scores have you been getting?
@Bug: Strange it won't play for you, wish I knew what the problem was so that I could fix it in the program.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

What's it supposed to do?

Have you tried playing it?
The goal is to get the most points by either empowering or destroying the tokens before they get to the urns.

I haven't tried it yet, no, but I think I'll try today.
You weren't expecting us to give you the programming equivalent of proofreading, were you? I think you said it was due today, so if you wanted some last minute feedback today before you turned it in, I apologize.

Shit.
What. A new one?

Philote wants some feedback from us on a program he's working on. I certainly hope he's just asking out of kindness, though, because I've been preoccupied today, and I'd feel terrible if he really needed us to test his program.

Well I was expecting to just collect opinions on how my games are turning out, since at some point at the end of the semester I have to choose one of these prototypes and develop it into a more full game.
From what I have available on my end, everything in the game is working correctly, so the error Bug is getting was a little unexpected. I was just curious if anyone else had the same problem.

Okay, let me check now.

Sorry, no, I don't seem to have any way to play it. I just tried it, and it say I need to buy WinRAR to run it. I don't have money to buy new software right now.
Is there a certain special way it should be run?

Its just a Zip folder, windows should be able to open it without any other programs.
Also, you can install WinRar for free, and that program will open Zip files and Rar files easier for you so I would suggest getting it since it will be of use besides opening the files I'm sending.

It isn't opening.
I'll try again later.

Did you have the same problem with the first prototype I posted?
You may just need to google how to open zip files on the computer you're using. WinRar can be obtained freely from their site, but there should be other options if you don't want to download something.

First prototype? I don't think I tried that one out. I think I only tried the second.

Here you go:
Prototype 1 Dropbox Link I just got the topic for next week's prototype. Its: Mars, The Red Planet. I'll have to start thinking about how to make a game based on that. Also, the teacher was able to open the files correctly on his computer, so I'm not sure why a couple people are not able to run the game properly.

It won't even let me open the second prototype.

Okay, turns out my problem with the first prototype was partly my own error. Forgot how to open a zip file. That part I remedied.
Still, that first prototype doesn't respond to any of the directional command prompts. While it shoots, the character won't move out of its place, so I keep dying of thirst. About to try the second prototype now.

Of course not! What kinda brainless doofus do you take me for? If I didn't spring to buy frickin' Minecraft, I'm certainly not gonna be paying for something so bland and boring as frickin' WinRAR.
