Those are the multipliers for power, and the plus isn't a vs sign. It's a fusion of two fusions

in which case why is the math in their favor, both of the fusions powers are a square of the sum of their originals full powers.

me shad and Philote were evenly matched in the fight, or close enough, and the Great God of Death from Discworld should be about the same level.

Because I'm not entirely sure if a dance fusion can fuse with another dance fusion to begin with....and it would most likely cut down the time possible for the fusion into only a few seconds instead of thirty minutes.

(Death + Jester)^2 = (X+X)^2 = 2x^2

3(Shad + Phi)^2 = 3(2x)^2 = 6x^2

6x^2 > 2x^2

incorrcect man, the times three for the second fusion is only after the fusion dance so it's actually just

(Shad+Phi)^2

which is why I said pay attention to the parenthisis. There's one after the sqaured so that means that you multiply the entire thing by three after you add the power of the Phiwulf and the Jester of death.
