And I will politely ask you to refrain from trying to discredit any post in which I provide my opinion. Telling me to not post my opinion on a matter that is being publicly addressed is not very polite. I don't arbitrarily delete your posts as you may think I do. I also don't tell you when I'm going to do it because that would just be a waste of more posts. I can see how it might be aggravating to you, but I assure you I don;t to it for that express purpose.

Do you see it from my point of view now?

Oh, boy. This guy belongs right at the top of the list. Look at his range of superhuman abilities.

Precisely my first reaction. Apparently, somebody intends to role play with this character.

Not sure if she's reported already as a Mary Sue, but Haruhi Suzumiya definitely qualifies.
I would even call her The Ultimate Mary Sue.

For those who never heard of her.
She's a girl who has the God-like power that what she unconsiously believes can become reality and thus can alter the world or time.

Examples. When she believes that the Sakura threes should bloom.
And suddenly the weather changes in a way that makes all the cherry blossom threes bloom.
Or when she doesn't want the summer vacation to end, and then time itself is reset on the day before school starts.
The world had to redo the same 2 weeks of summer 15,532 times !!! (but only 8 episodes full of deja-vu)

She's good at almost anything she does.
But what makes her a Mary Sue is that the story is completely centered around her.

The other characters try to keep her entertained to keep the world safe.
With the catch that she must never be made aware of her powers.

The believers of the Haruhiism religion might see it different though.

Oh...oh, gosh. They basically redid the story of It's a Good Life, by Jerome Bixby. Anime style. I must watch this.

Just don't expect to much spectacular stuff from it.
It's mostly just another anime about students doing activities at school.
With a only a few bits of timetraveling and alternate dimensions involved.

The main drive of that show is the contrast between the sarcastic narration of the serious protagonist versus the over-enthousiam of an energetic narcist who rules her club members like a dictator.

Is it good?

...  compared to 10400+ anime series out there ...

All I can say is that I've enjoyed it more than 68% of the other shows I've seen.
Even with those 8 time-looped episodes that make the term "deja-vu" feel like an understatement.
Since that was an annoying but also a unique experience.

I watched the dubbed version here, which has the episodes in "chronological" order. And then the movie.
And yes the order matters here, because the first season was originally aired with the order mixed up.
